That's okay. Not everyone will like everything MOTU or in MOTUC. I'm just trying to help spread awareness of who Illumina is as a character. If that garners more support, that's awesome. I'm not trying to force anyone to like her. :lol:

Also, just a reminder that Illumina Day is only 35 days away! If you want to take part by drawing, baking, sculpting, painting, gluing or sewing something...it would be a good time to get started (if you haven't already)! :mrgreen:

A fan page for Illumina just started up! This is the type of page you just hit the "like" button to follow. It will be easier to manage and follow. Pictures/Galleries are SO simple and easy to view on fan pages, but not so much in a Group.

Anyway, I encourage everyone that's interested in getting an Illumina figure in MOTUC one day, to join the new page!

I have a few announcements today!

1) He-Man.org has started their fan-vote poll (winning character to be added to Mattel's list 2013 subscribers get to vote on). I'm very excited to see Illumina is doing well in both the German fan poll and the .org fan poll. Illumina is currently first place on the .org and 2nd place in the German fan poll at 79 votes. The German-vote first place is Geldor with 114 (yes, I counted all the votes from the four different German sites

). I think it's a sure bet that he will win, but you never know because fans can change their votes on the German sites. Surprises could still happen!

It's FIVE DAYS away from Illumina Day and MattyCollector's sale day!

Even though it's 5 days early, I will post my main Illumina Day entry.

I got this idea from T-shirts my mom had when I was young. They were bulldogs that had a saying and a picture of a bulldog mimicking the word. ex: Convertibull (with a cartoon dog having his mouth opened like a convertible), Bulldozer, etc.

Here's my Illumina pic using that similar idea attached to pin-up art.:

I'm not the greatest artist, but it's all for fun.

I agree Jim. I personally enjoyed the comics they produced. I met Val briefly at Comic Con a few years go when MVC got the license to produce the comics and he had this geniune love for the comics. We talked briefly and Emiliano did a sketch of Man At Arms for me. I picked up their preview comic at the booth and they both signed it. Really nice guys. I have that comic with the cover with Illumina I was interested to see what she was going to be about but was surprised when the story was different for that next issue.

She gets my vote.

- You can vote for Illumina in the He-Man.org Fan Poll even if you are not a registered member of He-Man.org! The winner of the poll will be added as one of the 8 total selections on Mattel's Official 2013 Character poll. The winner of Mattel's poll gets made into a MOTUC figure!

It's Illumina Day today!

Illumina came in 2nd place in the German Fan Vote Poll (26 votes behind 1st place, Geldor) and Illumina came in 1st place in the He-Man.org Fan Vote Poll that was open to everyone! Second place went to Huntara from the She-Ra: Princess of Power Cartoon (trailing by 209 points).

Geldor and Illumina will face off against each other and SIX other characters chosen by Mattel in the 2013 Subscriber Fan Vote, taking place mid 2012.

I made a collage of all the Illumina Day-supporting Avatars that I saw used today as a thank you to everyone who took part in Illumina Day! Some are duplicates only because they were used by multiple people. It was a lot of work these few months spreading the word about Illumina, but I think a lot more people know who she is now.

Thank you for all the love for Illumina and the Illumina Day endeavor.

If you still have a submission you are working on that you didn't get finished for today, feel free to still post it when completed.

Clearly a lot of people have jumped on board the Illumina bandwagon. It will be really interesting to see which six characters Mattel puts up against these two.

It will be interesting! The wait is going to be excruciating though. I'm not sure when Mattel will announce their 6 picks. If they do it at SDCC, I don't think that will really give people much time to consider which character they want to vote for.
