Just like everyone else, I thought I would only get the most important heroes and their biggest villain...yea right. I have almost every release from that line now.

There's a few charactewrs I simply won't own. Some I just have no interest in  But I am finding that list is becoming fewer and fewer.

Its the cost per figure and character selection that will prevent me from ever collecting them all. No way will I pay for a character I do not like. Regardless of the line.
However, at a serious discount, I will pick up certain characters that at full price I would skip. I frequently find DC Direct figures at about 1/2 price at shows.

I can't collect DC Direct... I'm tempted to get one or two figures to flesh out teams and what not but I just don't like them, the lack of articulation even limited articulation is bothersome. When I bought Silk Specter II from Watchmen it was disappointing.
