I think people would be pretty pissed if there was a morrison era JLA set, personally, just because there are probably tons of people who want Zauriel, Huntress and Oracle who do NOT want to HAVE to buy Wally Wasteofafigure, Hooquaman and Lame ass Kyle Rayner. I will say if they do that set, they should include Plastic Man in some form other than the figure that was already released, like the one where he was the pig or any number of odd red and yellow household items. Again, though, that would require a LOT of tooling.

I'd prolly buy another Legion set if they made one but it worked because no other team members had been done and the Legion has so many members. I don't think any other set this large would do as well but I am hoping for more Legion with maybe Blok as the CnC maybe.

no-brainer: Flash & Rogues.

Wally West (90s metallic red/white eyes)
Kid Flash (redo on Superboy buck)
Elongated Man (classic red/blue)
Max Mercury
Impulse
Johnny Quick

Mirror Master
Trickster (classic)
Captain Boomerang (classic)
Weather Wizard
Pied Piper (classic)
Heat Wave

Add the Flash ring and the Cosmic Treadmill, and make the box deco the Flash Museum.

:D

Hopefully, this proves to Mattel that there is a market for DC figures if the right choices are made.

Despite being the most expensive item on that list, it sold out the fastest!

Why is this so? Well, if I could hazard a guess it's an excellent choice.
A team of characters all available at once. Granted it's not the complete team but dare I say it's the most number of related characters they've ever released at once. Without a single re-issue!

The problem with the DC fan base as a market has always been unlike MOTU, Ghostbusters and the rest, it is subdivided into smaller fan bases.

There are DC Universe fans (who would buy all things DCU), Batman fans, JLA fans, JSA fans etc...

Here, the team struck upon a very strong fan base which has been largely ignored by the line. And they tapped the most popular era of the team. (Something DC DIrect failed to do)

What this means for the future:

For starters, this hopefully justifies the making of a follow up Legion set.
The box design can even be re-used.

From this era, we can still see Supergirl, Triplicate Girl, Dawnstar, Blok, Invisible Kid II, Dream Girl, Princess Projectra, Shadow Lass, Chemical King, Light Lass, Mon-El, Element Lad, Tyroc, Bouncing Boy, Sun Boy and Shrinking Violet. Even Nemesis Kid. Starboy could be a variant of the figure released in the sub as a single. Maybe even Ferro Lad (even though he died before the Cockrum era)

It may be impossible to expect a complete team so we can scratch off some. Chemical King and Nemesis Kid are often forgotten as members given what happened to them.

Maybe a new 13 figure set with Element Lad, Ferro Lad, Sun Boy, White Witch, Dream Girl, Tyroc or Princess Projectra, Actual Invisible Kid, Phantom Girl, Dawnstar, Light Lass, Supergirl and Blok (as the big figure) and Invisible Kid II.
Replacing Proty could be Shrinking Violet.

Sure, there are more women on this line-up but having the sales figures from the first boxed set can almost guarantee it won't matter to the bean counters.

They could even release a new six-pack in between: Mon-El, Shadow Lass, Bouncing Boy and three Triplicate Girls!

Awesome idea! I will buy TWO or THREE of these!

Although my own version would replace Elongated Man, Impulse, Max Mercury, Kid Flash and Johnny Quick with:

Dr. Alchemy, The Top, Abra Kadabra, Rainbow Raider, Golden Glider.

Another cool one would be Arkham Assylum

Mad Hatter
Killer Croc
Zsasz
Ventriloquist
Scarecrow (re-do with the new head)
90's Catwoman
Two Face (black and white with the normal sized hands)
Jim Gordon
Black Mask
Firefly
Hugo Strange
Ras Al Ghul

They could design the package with each villain being in a cell that's decorated with their brand of crazy, and Gordon could be in an office setting over looking the inmates. Killer Croc would be the oversized figure.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Red Hood or a re-release of the NYCC Freeze in there either.

I thought about a Flash Rogues set too, and then I thought about extending it to Flash and Batman villains (Ra's, Zsasz, Killer Croc, KGBeast, Firefly, Black Mask, etc. Although Croc would probably kill the budget).

Then I got to thinking, why not just make it a whole villains set from all over DCU? Considering how poorly represented the villains have been, this would be a great way to catch up. Just a rough list since it would take a long time to put together a perfect list from ALL of the DCU (keep it Flash Rogue heavy):

Mirror Master
Heat Wave
Trickster
Weather Wizard
Mr.Zsasz
Prometheus
Dr. Polaris
Dr. Light
Ocean Master
Zod
Circe
The General (oversized on Kilowog body)

Kinda favoring the Injustice Gang, but that was a good line up of assorted villains and this way we get villains from a bunch of the biggest heroes, plus Light, General, and Prometheus who are kind of all around JLA villains.

It's too bad Mattel never shares their numbers, ever. I wonder if it "sold out" so quickly because they grossly underestimated the demand for it and there were just too few to sell. It's not like their market research has ever been outstanding. I'm glad it sold fast, don't get me wrong, but honestly, for all the hype and promotion, if you were in business, wouldn't you want to be able to keep selling a hot item for more than a few minutes?? All those frustrated non-buyers seem to me to translate into an awful lot of lost revenue.

I like the idea but we still need some key members to finish a modern JSA too. So I'll say:

Mister Terrific (classic)
Huntress (Earth 2)
Superman (Earth 2)
Wonder Woman (Earth 2)
Robin (Earth 2)
Star Spangled Kid
Johnny Thunder
Jakeem Thunder (with Thunderbolt)
Sand
Hourman (Rick Tyler)
Dr. Mid-Nite (Pieter Cross)
Liberty Belle (I don't want her, but I guess since everyone else seems to like her she can get shoved in :P )

I would love to get a JSA pack

I really do not think this proves anything as far as DCUC goes. So far I wouldn't buy any ideas listed except another Legion set even though some are good ones. I do no think any other sets would sell very well especially ones with all villains in it. Just my opinion but hoping for another Legion set much like JesseJames listed above.
