Too little too late if you ask me. Mattel dropped the ball on this line as well. Why can Mattel put out Batgirl and Catwoman in The Batman line, but NOT Catwoman, Black Canary or Huntress in Batman The Brave and the Bold? They could make one female body buck, just like they did with the males.

I still think we will see some new figures either flash or shazam, etc because there is no new cartoon till 2013 and they like having different Batman lines during movie years. I'm still hopeful for Robin or Owlman as well.

Nice find! He comes with that weird utility belt sword, cool!
I definitely want that and the Riddler.
As my user-namesake being what it is, you can imagine how much I want these!

They believe they will not sell. If I recall correctly, for The Batman, Catwoman was produced as a convention exclusive. Then in a multipack. Batgirl was only ever offered in a multipack. Brave and Bold tried the mulitpack approach already, with hero and villain 2 packs, which failed miserably. Why try again with female characters? Despite your (or my) wants, there just is not enough demand for these characters in this line. Do you remember all the bellyaching and complaining about the peg holes in the basic figures? Collectors were annoyed at the play pattern introduced with these figures because it 'ruined' the aesthetics of the figures. They never cared about the play potential. These comments told Mattel the collector base for this line is very low. Hopefully Riddler is a sign we might get Robin and Nightwing, but I don't expect any new tooling for basic bodies.

Batgirl from "the Batman" was released twice on a single card. One was in her lavender and black outfit the other was a red and black.
I have the lavender/black one chilling with my BATB characters and she looks pretty good with them. I recommend her if you can snag one for a decent price on the eBAY.
There really isn't a whole lot of time left for the BATB line. It is going away once movie merchandise hits next spring/summer. I do hope we can at least get a Robin. He's sorely needed for collectors AND kids will go crazy for him. It would be a win/win for everyone.

I got an extra unmasked Batgirl and swaped heads with the show accurate one to make a show accurate unmasked one. The only draw back was the "T" pin for the head. It snapped the top off leaving a straight pin. The head pulls off if you pick it up, but mine is on display next to an unmasked Batman custom I did.

I saw the new figures today. They both looked cool, especially The Riddler, but at $9.99 each, I couldn't pull the trigger on a line I don't really collect (I only own Batman and The Joker).
