Isn't the show from a production company under the WB banner ...?
I dunno, could have something to do with it ...

Well I do know that both CBS and Time Warner own 50% of the CW Television Network so they are most likely partners in other ventures. I'm sure CBS gets advertising fees though for displaying the items.

Marvel gets enough promotion already. Let DC have their turn

Yeah, Marvel has a little studio thing that seems to be working out for them (hahahahaha). Since DC hasn't figured out how to make anything successful other than Batman, I'm all for the bias. And for those who's rings are all one color, may I highly recommend the plastic version that's in most comic stores now. It's awesome and fits in with the skittle lantern rings.

But yea. Alot of DC. I did find it funny that they argued about Wolverines claws in an early episode, and even showed Wolverine Origins comic with the bone claws. I have the Green Lantern LSB from the comic shop. and I have the GL vs. Sinestro mini statue set thats behind the couch in their house.

I had to order some books my LCS didn't get and ended up ordering three Legion Rings for 50 cents each Didn't the old DC Direct Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy figures come with rings? I wonder what I did with those...

I want to know who is the person that does props on sets. I would ask him if he can tell the writers if they can make one of the characters say a couple of lines:
"Did you get the DC Universe Classics Subcription?"
"Are you going to buy the Final Justice League Unlimited 7-Pack? You purchase can help save the line."
"Man, that website (Mattycollector.com) needs serious improvements."
The show would be the best if they did.

I got a chance to look at mine tonight and that set is just awesome. I really don't care that much about the Legion but I'm sure glad I picked this up.

Ooh, I need a Flash ring...
Out of interest, has anyone in the UK had theirs yet?
I've got to swap the bedroom and study over before I can get them out to display, but I'm checking the mailbox every day just in case.

I remember "Roseanne" had a lot of DC Vertigo stuff in it from time to time in the kid's bedrooms. I always understood it that Johnny Galecki and all them had a small stake in DC Comics at the time. I'm not sure how true this is, you hear a lot a BS rumors growing up.

They arrived earlier this week and it's beautiful. May not even bother in opening them up, just have to find the space to display them.

I just showed my wife and youngest daughter (my toy girl; my oldest is my DC girl, but she is in the bed sick, so she gets to see it later) my LOSH Set, which is my early birthday gift... and proceeded to get "hammered" over why Mattel didn't include at least a clear figure for Invisible Kid. Whew! My daughter keeps laughing that I paid for an empty spot in the packaging. My best explanations just seemed to fly by their heads. Oh well, maybe that wasn't such a great tongue-in-cheek move by Matty They both thought the set was pretty cool (although my daughter did laugh and ask what "that" was; "that" being Proty!). Hopefully I will finally have a spot for it before Thanksgiving Day comes.
