While this is great in "fanboy dream land" I don't really see lightning striking twice with this sort of product.

a 12pack is a BIG INVESTMENT on both the production and purchasing end.

And if any of the mix is wrong, the whole thing is a disaster.

The Legion worked so well, I believe, because this was truly the first time we have seen the Legion represented in the DCUC format. Yes, we had gotten Tyr (who many associate with SP before LSH), and we got Validus (but a CnC alone is a bit of a ??), but for the LSH itself ... this was it.

And it blew the doors wide open. We got a good chunk of the team (boys side at least) in some stellar packaging and it was offered in a way that kept everyone excited.

To do it all again, with the same level of success, is a very tenuous proposition.

Are there enough Legionnaires left (especially females) to put together another set? Sure. Will it be a set that has as much appeal or demand as this first one did? Doubtful.

Are there enough members of the JL left to put together a set like this? Yup. But again, it will be a mix of several different team incarnations and the "total package" most likely will not be as strong of an offering.

Flash Rogues ... has the most potential. But honestly, I can think of 5, maybe 6 that are MUST HAVES so the prospect of a 12 pack ... a big maybe...

I voted, and I'd love to get all the figures listed and many many more, but I doubt we'll see the likes of a 12 pack again anytime soon being as successful as this one was.

I'd love to see another Legion set, but not an all female one. In all honesty, it'd probably never happen. As bnjmnrlyr pointed out, you have to get the exact right mix. You need at least one "anchor" character. You need several characters that casual buyers might be interested in. You need characters with history. And you HAVE to get the characters that the majority of the fanbase wants. I posted this in another thread, but this mix would cover all of those bases.

The other sets you mentioned I just don't see having enough "pull". There are either too many third and fourth tier characters, too much sculpting required, or not enough exposure. At least in my opinion. Another Legion set COULD work (not saying would, just could) if done JUST right.

No Aqualad or Tempest (or even Aquagirl) on either Titans list?

Exactly this. I think a Legion set would sell quite well but certainly not an all female one. Who buys the first set then passes on the second one? I suppose some would but especially when you look at some of the characters listed as they are incredibly popular for the time frame they are doing which is the 70's-80's era LOSH.

The other 12 packs are easy passes for me for sure.

The next set should definitely be another Legion set; there are still enough headliners (Mon-El, Sun Boy, Supergirl, Dawnstar, etc) for it to be a great success. Anything else would just be a waste of the momentum the first set has built.

If Matty releases a new 12-pk though, it probably won't be for another two years. It took them long enough to release the LOSH after they announced it at SDCC.

If those sets were in 3.75" scale, then I would buy them all.

I would like to see a JSA or All-Star Squadron set before these.

The JLA Villains listed above sounds interesting.

I wish we could get all of these, especially since the Titans are so underrepresented in DCUC. The JSA has had multiple waves and obscure characters made but we can't get proper versions of Changeling, Starfire and a Titans Nightwing, not to mention other prominent characters like Jericho, Cassie Wonder Girl and Speedy and Aqualad.

Which by the way I did not include Speedy & Aqualad because I thought they would fit in better with the subscription as an individual figure and would rather see characters like Phantasm, Pantha, Bombshell, Miss Martian, Bumblebee and Herald get a shot at maybe being made.

He was a major character in both Marv Wolfman and Geoff Johns' runs on Teen Titans.
