Sorry Zax, I'm guilty. I really thought this was going to go off under the radar. Like you said, it was dirt cheap until the last second then the bids piled in.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but what is it about that figure guys? Just curious. I'm a JLU completist for the most part just wondering.

If I'm not mistaken, this figure was never released inside the U.S., and only a handful have surfaced from overseas, if that.

It's the rarity of this figure that makes me want it. If it was easily available like all the other Batman repaints, I could give two craps less about it.

This figure was never released but because it's a pretty bland Batman repaint it doesn't go for the crazy money that the unreleased figures do. $66 isn't too bad though, they usually go for over $100.

And he blends in nicely with Tracksuit Superman and Green Lantern, that were released.

Looks like the seller had no idea what he or she had. Congrats, Jester!

Yeah, it's a prototype and never released so not part of the line imo as I only collect released figures. Really nice deal for a prototype figure if you are a collector of them though.

Thanks guys. Just wondering. Everyone has that holy grail type figure that they want to get. Like I mentioned a while back I bought a JLU Blue Beetle for about 70+ including shipping and I'm happy to have him, especially standing next to Booster Gold.

Right there with you, Nitewing73. LOVE the JLU Blue Beetle figure I snagged from ebay. I was bidding on Toyman that popped up. But the 600+ bucks it went for was way out of my price range. Some day...
