Has anyone heard anything of when the JLU convention pack would go on sale? I figured they would be on sale before Christmas as to get them for my Christmas this year but i have not heard anything yet and I really dont wont to get them from those outlandish scalpers on Ebay but that may have to force my hand.

Yeah, I've been wondering about this myself.

My guess is that they will be on sale during the first few months of 2012 and that's what Mattel meant by plans for JLU in next year.

I hope not. I'm hoping the two are completely separate. Honestly at this point, they couldn't aggravate the remaning JLU fans much more. But having that be the news to which they were referring would pretty much do it lol. Especially when they know most JLU fans are hoping good news = unreleased figures.

I hope not either. However with Mattel I've come to expect the least this way you're not disappointed when the news actually comes out.

These have been announced for the 12/15 sale, so they will be here before the end of the year. Spread the word!

Unfortunately, we have a no buying for yourself rule at home when it comes to December, so I'll have to pass on these for now. Plus, I'm tapped out from the big JLU sale in November. I just hope that these will be available next year at some point too.
