Like most Imaginext lines, what is pictured on the box is the "pitch art" and then they just keep putting out releases in sporadic and un-announced fashion much to the surprise of the fans.
usually, you will get one or two new pieces a year with a handful of re-purposed or repainted items to keep that year "fresh" until they completely update the concept.
Super Friends is kind of using the "best of both worlds" model in that it will get some new figures, a few new vehicles spread throughout the year, paired with a smattering of repainted vehicle packs (all taken from the other lines). Its great fun and a joy to try to keep up with.
Also, be patient with Imaginext. When a new item first hits, its impossible to find, then about 3 months in or so, as the cases get repacked and refreshed, the new items will show up EVERYWHERE in ample abundance.
Makes it a bit harried at Holiday Shopping season, but otherwise, deals can be had if you are willing to wait a bit and don't suffer from "need it now" sydrome.
Back to the topic on hand... Since the dinosaur line is a re-imagining of the previous dinosaur offerings (now with Armor!), I would expect that any previously made Dino will be put back out once the armor bits are sculpted and set leading to a few new Dinos coming out next year to fill out the case mixes.
Some eBay or Google searches will show you what Dinos came before and give you an idea of what you might have to look forward to.
