DCUC Nekron doesn't include his scythe!

I just read on Fwoosh from member trs who just acquired wave 20 that the baf Nekron does not include his scythe like in the promo pics. There is also a post on Matty's forums saying the same thing. Looks like we got Mattyed again! :evil:

Yeah, I'd want confirmation too. But if this is correct, wow what a crappy deal. It's an integral part of the character. Kinda like Aquaman's trident or Superman's cape...

I'm not one to jump on the "Mattel Sucks" bandwagon, but if this is true, it's a pretty crappy move on their part.

lookin at some of the pictures (from NYCC, i believe) that i had saved for future reference.....Nekron wasn't pictured with his scythe, so i guess this should have been expected. Unfortunate and a bs move similar to Monk not having his staff. good thing for me i bought the dcd Nekron. I see a mass of customing dollars for custom Nekron scythes. (i better learn how to make casts asap)

Im assuming its china samples, which most the time does not have weapons. at least I hope, pretty crappy move if not.

For me its not a huge deal, since I am keeping my DCD nekron.

I am still ticked at DCD for Monk not coming with a staff, need to grab an atom for cheap for the staff, sigh

I'll tell you one thing, there will not be a huge market for custom Nekron staffs haha. And I'm pretty sure the DCD version would be too small.

I started looking at the pics that have been released starting with the images from when they were first revealed until the most recent ones. He definitley was carrying his scythe in the original promo shots but has been missing it in the displays at NYCC and SDCC.

You know, none of the classic versions of Nekron -- who really were giant-sized, as opposed to human-sized Blackest Night -- carried a scythe.

Still ... in the 3 or 4 panels where Blackest Night Nekron was giant-sized, was he carrying the scythe? If not, maybe the figure is accurate!
