Surprised no one has posted this... http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2012 ... of-barbie/...but it's still not Barbie and I really have to believe that MGA annoucing that they would be making bald Bratz and Moxies is morethe reason behind this than any other...

Mattel is not selling this but giving these away to cancer patients. I wonder how long till somebody fakes a cancer kid to get one of these Barbies. What a sad world we live in.

That's a bit cynical. I can't imagine someone going through all that trouble just to get a $10 hairless Barbie doll.

Its great that they are specifically siting the Facebook page as the impetus to get this started.
Once again, the general public is smarter and more in tune than the big brass higher ups.
I consider this a "win", how about you?

You're absolutely right, but I'm gonna look on the bright side of life (to misquote Life of Brian" on this one...
Sincere thanks to Mattel.

Thought I'd chimed in on this, but it turns out that was in the "Ask Mattel" thread. D'Oh!
As someone who spends all day in the disability world, it's great to see this happen. We probably won't see them on this side of the world, but it's great to see it happening.
Take care,
Jo
