The Avengers films are really four colored like their comic counterparts. This is what makes a good comic film is when you can capture the feel of the genre.
The Dark Knight films are good... but they don't do it for me. The second Burton Batman really has the four colored flavor, the first comes close. The Rami Spider-Man movies were just like that, four color and so was Amazing Spider-Man.

I'd love to see a Mike W. Barr-styled Batman movie after the Nolan ones. I've really enjoyed BB/TDK, but after TDKR, I'm ready for a less "gritty-realism" Batman movie.
I'd also like a gray Batsuit (a la the current Bat-costume) so that I can actually SEE Batman's body and logo on screen.

I wouldn't mind a return to something like Burton's suit with a little yellow on it for the symbol.

not sure if these count as toys or mattel , but hallmark released a dark knight movie ornament and a comic book based cat woman ornament. both well done. dark knight seems to be made of plastic and rubberish cape. unlike normal fragile ornament ceramics material.

Man, that Batsignal is pretty sweet. Too bad you have to buy those awful Movie Masters in order to get it.

Since all you need is a new lens piece in order to get a more classic Bat-Signal, I wouldn't put it past Mattel to pull this stunt again. As a matter of fact, The Adam West '66 Movie Masters figures come to mind as a potential candidate for a C&C Signal.

MORE PICTURES PLEASE I especially wanna see TNBA Gordon with any DCAU Bats and Mattel's Batgirl... They should totally send me one of these with a Burton Bat lens as a "thank you" for my continued support of the JLU line (wouldn't that be awesome?)

Since I have no interest in the figures (and hunting them down at stores has been a bit of a headache locally), I'm just going the ebay/trade route for a batsignal.
If anyone has (or will) put together a second one, I'll gladly take it off your hands unless I get a good score off ebay first.
