Seriously, if you can do so I would. The line in and of itself is awesome. All the problems aside, it's pretty much my favorite. Even once it ends, I won't get rid of it but if I had at some point I'd sure rebuild it.

If you've got the cash ready to go, you can get a pretty complete collection on eBay for less than the retail price. I've seen some huge lots go unsold where you could easily acquire it all in one fell swoop.

Personally, I would set the goal of getting back the collection for the same or less than what you let yours go for. I think now is a pretty good time to get deals, especially on large groups of figures. However, since your wife mentioned this being stressful you should probably agree on how to proceed. I'm not sure why this would be an issue for her, unless you have limited funds or space. Either way, if she's not happy with it, you won't be either.
