I can live with assortments like this. A split between old DC and New 52 (which I'm no fan of) although this Flash will indeed be a Wally stand in for me.

I'm actually excited about this but the re-release of Supergirl isn't boding well for Mattel's claim that a re-release wouldn't be in every wave.

You're a little slow on the uptake Joel. You're usually the one to point out when something's already being discussed in another thread. BlackCanary wrote: CBR has a look at wave 2 of DC All-Stars. Looks like the figures are DCnU Superman, DCnU Flash, Red Robin, and black outfit Supergirl (repaint of the DCSH blue modern Supergirl). You can see pictures and read a review article here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page ... e&id=36077

Didn't even notice that. I'm out of town with only my phone to use tonight. Oh well, it deserves it's own thread.

also a half wave or so plus or minus for me. supes...less then 50% chance of getting supergirl...less then 50%. i like the dark color suit, but not same head/hair scult. flash...wally stand in....50% chance or better in favor. Red Robin..for sure. i would have loved a slimmer buck/Tim Drake version instead, but what can ya do.

Huh. I am skipping Wave 1 in its' entirety, but Red Robin is a must. Superman is a possibility. I have to see Flash in person and whether I am still reading the new 52 Superman and Flash may play a big role on what I purchase as well.
It's still better than Wave 1.

The jury is still out on if I'll cover this line as faithfully as its predecessor, but these assortments just aren't doing much for me so far.
Red Robin is a nice addition, but it's not sculpted to be Tim. Is it Jason Todd? Is it a KC variant? Supergirl in black goes on the "Who asked for this?" list. The DCnU stuff would interest me if the comics that featured those costumes were more enjoyable.
Basically, we're 8 figures in and I'm not really excited for any of 'em. Compare that to three years ago with a classic Batman, Etrigan, Red Tornado, Metamorpho, Orion, etc.

I am a tad surprised that they did not continue with the Flashpoint figures. I didn't really care much for Plas, but if they made a collection of diff FP figs, I might me inclined to pick them up.

Here's my take on the reveal.....
The head sculpt on Superman looks off somehow, can't put my finger on why though.
Supergirl is just a repaint, and not one I'd be interested in.
Flash looks good, would probably pick him up.
But the big let down for me is the version of Red Robin they went with. Straight away you can see its an older face sculpt on an adult body, which makes it the Kingdom Come version of him. I was really hoping it would be the TIm Drake version, done on the Legion teen body. But with them making the older version then the chances of ever getting Tim in that suit are blown out the water!!!
What is Mattels problem with doing accurate versions of Tim Drake???

Depending on how easy it is to switch the head and lower legs, the Flash is a must for me. Would make a great Wally.
Red Robin is a must simply because I think it is the best designed Robin costume EVER. Strange even that it's from Alex Ross, who has the worst costume designs. I always wished that Dick Grayson would take this costume and become Robin again. (sigh)
The other two are crap. DC would be best if they got Jim Lee away from a head decision making position because his costume designs are second worst.

Is it just me or do the costumes look like they have a lot of sculpted details like the Flash symbol?
