The Flash symbol does look a bit raised like it's tooling work or sculpted. That sort of adds to the figure, Superman and Flash are nicely made just based on some crappy designs. ( Don't mind me, I'll never have a good thing to say about the New 52 for a while yet) Although I wouldn't mind a New 52 Justice League so my DCUC Justice League can trash them on my shelf!

Oklahoma's Man of Steel wrote: I'm actually excited about this but the re-release of Supergirl isn't boding well for Mattel's claim that a re-release wouldn't be in every wave. But she isnt the same. Its not like batman beyond where he is just a straight up re-release. Supergirl is a repaint, not the same.

I thought they already did that repaint once.

I keep thinking that too but I've never seen her pop up on ebay.

A lot of people have made nice customs of that Supergirl but Mattel hasn't released an official one (though I think DCD did). What I want to know is where the Matrix/Earth Angel Supergirl is, she's never had a figure unless you count the Tonner doll.

Yeah she was an easy custom for people to do, and it always seem like a no brainer to me as a repaint. So I am still worried on the overall future of 6" DC figures past 2012, but I am a lot happier with this wave vs the 1st

To be honest if Mattel re-releases anything with a repaint or as is, I would like to see it be stuff from DC Superheroes. Scarecrow never got a release in the DCUC. Sure Supergirl did but it was a TRU two pack with Armor Lex. Same with Cyborg Superman in his Reign colors and Mongul. Mongul got his silly yellow Lantern repaint in Green Lantern. If not a new Bizzaro then a single release of him, since he only turned up in the TRU vs MOTU two packs. Those are reissues which would make some sense. Recirculating stuff people can no longer get. Like they did with Mr. Freeze in the Batman Legacy line.
Sure it drags out the releases of new stuff since we're only working with four slots. But if the re-re;eases generate sales then that's good for the future of the line.
I'd worry when two slots out of four are taken for a re-release then that could indeed be a bad sign.

Red Robin is a nice addition, but it's not sculpted to be Tim. Is it Jason Todd? Is it a KC variant?
It's the Kingdom Come version. A middle aged Dick Grayson wore that costume in that series. Tim also wore that same costume for a while, but while Tim was supposed to be 18 or 19 at the time, the figure is obviously sculpted to be much older. Kind of an odd choice to put out an Elseworlds version, but I don't mind.

It was Linda, and the figure really just had a black skirt, headband, black piping on her t-shirt, and some black on the "S." This repaint is closer to the black kryptonite Kara, but it's not accurate and seems to look even more like Joan Rivers than the original DCSH figure. I assume that's just the paintjob on the head, but still...

Is it still considered Elseworlds now that characters from that universe have actually appeared in the (previously) mainstream DCU? Kingdom Come Superman was actually part of the JSA.

I dont ever remember seeing this supergirl in any comics, at least the new repaint has been seen a few times

That Kara above was in the later issues of Supergil. Or am I missing something? And I thought Kingdom Come was canon in the old DCU... thanks to The Kingdom series and Magog showing up in the modern day DCU.

What's so different in the one posted? Is her skirt black and not blue? I guess it is, I just mistook it for shadow.
