Pretty good, overall.

Mirror Master, Poison Ivy, and Platinum look awesome. Tin looks . . . weird.

Black Mask . . . meh.

He's down there with Starman in the lower end of the sub spectrum.

So far I'm not regreting the sub at all.

Now if we just could have gotten Mera or Ralph . . .

With the "#01" on his armor, I'm pretty sure that the figure is supposed to be the Maks Chazov character who made a handful of appearances in Checkmate as well as a few crossover series like Final Crisis and World War III.

The numbering on the armor also makes it difficult to buy a bunch of them to use as army builders -- not unless Mattel includes a bunch of number decals to let you put on the figures yourself.

Alright, maybe I should have bought the sub. Tin and Platinum got me. That's what I wanted. I'm in love with them. Oh well, I'll have to shell out the big bucks for them. That's the way it is. Jay, Ivy and Rocket Red too. I really want those on Sale Day. I can live without Metron, Mirror Master, Atrocitus, star man. I'll try for Black Mask on Sale Day. Hopefully there's some figures that nobody wants and they will be available.

I think Mattel is going to have a hard enough time selling Rocket Red for $45 (the Subscription price is $30). If Mattel is really trying to get cherry pickers on-board, BL Swamp Thing would a gigantic step in the wrong direction. People are having issues with their $30 SDCC regular Swamp Thing tearing, I can't imagine someone paying $45 for a repaint of the same thing.

Currently, out of 9 regular figures and 3 oversized, we have seen 7 regulars (Jay Garrick, Starman, Atrocitus, Poison Ivy, Black Mask, Platinum, and Mirror Master ) and 1 oversized (Rocket Red). That means only 2 regular figures and 2 oversized figures will be left for SDCC reveals.

True, Dimitri IS who we think of as Rocket Red. The new JLI series seems to be one of the stories that does continue out of the old DCU as opposed to being brand new, so who knows how much of Dimitri's history is intact.

That aside, with the "01" on the figure, I'd like to think of this as the original Rocket Red, from way back to the time when 7 Green Lanterns called Earth their home and Kilowog helped the Rocket Red program get off the ground.

I like the idea of number stickers. If Mattel gave us 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, then you could make a variety of numbered figures as army builders.

It would really give people a reason to army build with this.

J1h15233, Matty announced the Day of Sale prices back in September of last year.

Per the September 14th post on Matty Collector:

I totally missed that part about the oversized figures. Thanks. Rocket Red will be a real tough sell at 45. I'm glad I bought 2 subs. I can probably sell my other Rocket Red for less than that.

That's assuming Platinum isn't being sold with Tin in an over-sized slot.

Tin's a little small to take up a slot himself.

See this makes me sad I wanted the 80s JLI version of Dmitri. There was 2 suits he wore if Iremeber right one being an Apocalypse tech suit. I would have liked either one of those this one is a sour note for me BUT the other figures look great ! Is it me or does Posion Ivy look a little buffer ? Maybe the 2 up is making it look like that. As much as I love the sub I really am just like blown away that they did not make some of these figures for retail.
