Once the machines are turned back on, I wonder if there will be any more ebay leaks from the assembly line with such a small run?

WOW.

I am amazed at this announcement. What a great surprise when I had convinced myself and my friends that the line was dead!

I am thankful for Mattel's and toyguru's work to get us the last remaining figures - and even firefly and destiny which weren't even promised initially. All in all, a great victory and thanks to all who supported the crazy polls/facebook campaigns/secondary reassurance polls - I have to believe we've had some impact. And at 30$, I'm in for all of them, of course!

I actually had a dream a popup shop opened up selling the first two 3 packs. yes, I need help.

Can't wait to get 'em!!!!!

It seems that the only one still going to be left out is the ver2 Volcana. Not too shabby.

How is that volcana so hard to get ahold of! i want one so bad and that is so cool but im happy with my old one and so should others. But If you bought one of the unreleased sell it NOW! SOME COLLECTORS MAY HAVE NOT HEARD THE NEWS AND YOU MAY JUST GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! good luck!

I have a first release Volcana, but I gotta admit the head sculpt is poor in my opinion. I think the hair is great but the face is way off. When I have the time to do some customs I think I'll pick up a casting of the head, remove the hair and put it on one of the better JLU female heads. Not sure which one yet but I know I don't want the released one in my display. That being said, I'm keeping the real one as a comparison, hoping my custom will look more on model.

In this video of the Toy Fair presentation, Scott talks about how recent the decision to make the JLU packs was made.

He also mentions that Dr. Destiny will use Aquaman's arms instead of the arms currently on the figure. It's around the 4:00 mark.

Is this an improvement people were asking for?

Mattel is extra sneaky. They did not say volcana was released and she was sculpted.

It makes sense why Aquaman is not coming if they are using his arms, weird that they wouldn't grab some Shazam legs to use at the same time though.

I was thinking the same thing. I always found it odd that they didn't even use those legs on Blue Devil either. They still weren't perfect but it was still a lot closer.

Shazam came out years after Blue Devil did. Plus he's too short. We don't need midget Dr Destiny.

But the Shazam legs are the same legs that were used on Red Tornado and Aztek. And both of them came years before Blue Devil and Shazam. Plus those legs are no shorter than the ones that were used on Blue Devil so they couldn't have been any worse at the very least.

Hmm...I guess you're right. I don't believe the legs are the same length on those though. I'll have to compare them. Shazam seems so small.
