Hello. I love BTAS, TNBA and dcau batman villains. Do you think Mattel may start another line for tnba. It it was not for Mattel we would not have: firefly, penguin, catwoman, scarecrow, Harley Quinn, clock king, in the tnba style. The last tnba batman dcau Mattel villain is set to be firefly. What from there? There is more like poison ivy, clayface, mad hatter, calendar girl, farmer Ben, baby doll, killer croc etc;...... Not to say that there arent brilliantly awesome customs out there of these villains. Also maybe a bullock and scarface would be cool too. Kudos to Casmir, glassman, and stew for making awesome figures like these but what will happen after? What are your thoughts? And BTW long live jlu and I'm so happy to see firefly!

I think the fans will keep it alive as they always have - making customs, taking pictures and reminding Mattel (or whoever else ends up owning the rights to Timm/DCAU toys) that we're still here and still interested in new merchandise.
This line has stretched out over 15+ years now. It's a part of a hugely successful and beloved franchise of cartoon shows. There will be more DCAU figures after these last packs...they may not be in scale, or of the characters we want, but there will be more, just as there were with Star Wars, Gi Joe and others...

A new line for TNBA specifically?!? Today?!? I'd never say never (only because it's Batman) But to quote Gorilla Monsoon I'd have to say, "Highly Unlikely"

I'm happy we are getting these final figures. I think after 20 years (including Batman and Superman TAS, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, JL, and JLU, I'm happy to call it a day. As much as I would love a Timm styled DC line I'm content.
Not in a million years did I think they would do a Super Friends homage 3-pack with Apache Chief, Samurai, and Black Vulcan. After this final run of figures I can finally have a complete Giffen Dematteis Justice League and most of their original Justice League Europe team.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what they've got in store for Young Justice.
If they were to ever return to this line I would love more LOSH, New Teen Titans, Outsiders, and of course more New Gods. But since this is the swan song I'm so happy they added Dr. Destiny and Firefly for quite a finish.

It was already planned. At least got to the test shot stage. GL:TAS We've seen three figures that I know of, but the movie at least for now has killed that hope. Beyond that, I don't see it happening. So we'll do what we've always done. Make customs. So come see us!

Why buy custom figures from Stew of course. Have you seen theMonicle, Fastball and Pupeteer heads? Just awesome. I hope he starts making more full painted figures again because I have come to realize I suck at painting.

I grabbed a couple of Hal heads from him, stared at them for a bit, then came to the same realization...I suck at painting these things...then promptly ordered a pair of painted Hal heads from him. Awesome work, that guy does.

From Casimir's head sculpt, cast by Stew. C. From Casimir's EXCELLENT headsculpt. Sheesh, if you're going to correct someone do it correctly lol. I do think there will always be some kind of market for Timm-verse figures. Whether custom or official. Yes interest has waned, but as someone else said collectors of these figures have nearly 20 years invested. That's a LONG time for any line, and hard to walk away from. I fully intend to keep on customizing until my fingers fall off.

And once I get out of this apartment I fully intend to get back to some painting myself! Until then though, I'm perfectly happy with buying customs from other people. In fact, Greatwhite has one going for me now that's going to blow everyone away.
