Wow... what a pass for me. Nice idea but looks too corny for me.

The press release for this line says "The Dark Knight Rises" is a "R" rated movie. I thought it was going to be a "PG-13" movie. I can't believe that WB would let Nolan release this as a restricted audience movie. Can this be true?

I actually like the look of the line a lot for kids. It's not for me as a collector, but if I had children, this would be a line I'd probably buy for them.

I'm also positive it's Rated R simply for the terrorist activities and violence. I'm sure it has nothing sexual in it.

I will want and see what Killer Croc looks like. For a kids line ok, for collectors I am going to pass until I see Killer Croc. Depends on how the big figures look. The Bane that was released for the JLu was just to little, but the Bane from the Batman TAS by Kenner works perfect. Like I said until I see how Croc looks this could be a pass for me.

Not sure this will succeed for them in the way they want it to. Hasbro has tried something like this with Star Wars and it bombed. I get WHY they want this, but it just feels a layer or two removed from batman. And I think it will run through its own diversity quickly.
I still don't understand, for the life of me, why Mattel, hungry for bat-variants, didn't exploit the show accurate variants put into Brave and the Bold FOR Mattel?!? Where was Medieval Batman? Or Batman armored with the Metal Man? Or Batman of Zur En Ar? Or Owl Man? Or Vampire Batman? Gotham by Gaslight Batman? Or any of the other heroes painted like Batman! Where were their alt Earth repaint variants? That show had toyline written allllllll over it. It worked on two levels. Adults appreciated the show, but the premises were incredibly toyetic.
Seems like a huge missed opportunity. Without a show, I think this line wil shrivel up into obscurity. The fact that were getting vehicles for this, but never got a bat mobile for DC Universe classics is a disgrace.

Its reason like this that make Mattel a liar and get me mad. They said they could afford to vehicles with the JLU lineup. So a lineup that does not have a cartoon or comic book is allowed vehicles. What a waist of plastic.

I, for one, am actually looking forward to this line. Dependent on price, Batman and Robin are definite buys. And I have some hope that maybe this line will come out with some non-standard villains down the road (the not so popular ones).

I definitely will buy Killer Croc to use as an oversized figure for other lines.

This will be a "wait and see" line for me.
When my son and I see them hanging on the pegs and he gets a chance to hold one in his hands, I will gauge the reaction.
There might be a figure here, or a set there that I will want, but this won't be an "all in" line for me as the other DC lines are.

Mattel did vehicles and a play set for JL, you know when it was a new toy line that most people wanted and not a toy line that was 10 years old, it gets so old that any DC toy news from Mattel turns into, Mattel lies about and hates JLU. Get over it already, we have over 130+ figures in the JLU, its my fav toy collection, we are getting 6 more 3 packs and its done, not very many toy lines do what JLU did and it was with the help of people like TG and Mattel that it lasted this long.

So far, I'll pass. But I do want to see Killer Croc.
