But, yeah... All the TRU in my area are still clogged with Captain Marvel 2-packs and it's going to take a massive sale for them to move. But in all honesty, that probably has more to do with the original case packouts of One Harley per Two Marvels.

And once again I'll state the obvious....

Mattel should have offered flat yellow repaints of Captain Marvel and Black Adam in this 2-pack. If they had done that, we wouldn't be seeing nearly as many clogging the shelves now.

Yes we would.

I think what shabbyblue is referring to making a Captain Marvel yellow variant to better fit with the Super Powers version, would have sold a few extra sets off the shelves.

I got that, but even if they did it would still be a giant peg warmer. Mattel shipped the stupid thing in cases of 4 that had three Marvel packs and one Mad Love pack. It was a peg warmer before it ever hit the pegs.

I think if they would have done the yellow repaint and at most 2 in a case, it would have been better, but still sitting there on the shelf

and really look at it vs the mad love, both figures had new or corrected paints and they came with accessories

marvel pack had 1 HTF figure and another common figure, no changes and no accessories

I mad love pack was great in every way, some Alex Ross love, a fan requested "fix", looked great in the box

I don't even consider Black Adam a hard to find figure. Wave 9 was everywhere down here when it was released. Black Adam sat on the shelves at Target for almost a year.

well to be fair, when i heard that 2 pack was coming i was like WTF, why black adam, then I went to ebay and saw the single figure selling for $30ish all day long, so i guess it just depends on where you lived

Who here has pics of these cases of TRU 2 packs with 4 Black Adam packs and 2 Joker packs ????? I have pics of the cases from my area every store I went to got cases of six 3 of each!

The Black Adam/Guardian case hit the Super Walmart here once. I never saw those two at TRU/Target or Wally again. I found Gentleman Ghost at Target once. I never saw the Black Wildcat at retail. Sounds like a regional distribution issue to me.

I thought they said they have shipped and are in the TRU systems waiting to get to stores.
