I'm shocked that someone hasnt photoshopped rio-blast jumping over the landshark vehicle from back in the day.

i think it's when the last couple waves kicked in. I used to love the he man guys, and even as a kid, it seemed like clamp champ, rio blast, extendar, snout spout, some of the later horde and snake men figures AND especially the awful movie figures were pretty out of place (even scare glow and ninjor just seemed like crappy mexican knock-off versions of skeletor and jitsu), but the worst was when they started ripping off gimmicks from other toy lines. the transformers got ripped off the most, i think. they had the rock guys, the meteorbs, and the robot-tech gadgeted dinosaur vehicles at the end there. but the worst, to me, were the stupid top spinny guys who looked like ram man without legs. that was when they jumped the shark the hardest, in my opinion.
