These answers are always no news or bad news, but I'm a dummy and read them anyway. "We are relaunching 6” at mass retail in 2013 and we’ll let you know more closer to the date." So I guess you 3.75" fans are out of luck! Which includes me.

I realize this is a typo, but I love it anyway. Mattel really is "planning for the future" (I bolded and enlarged the part that I find most humorous) Quote: A4. We are looking into alt ways to promote the 2013 sub, but we also feel confident that it will be a lot smoother this year as by the time the 20913 sub goes on sale we will have revealed all of 2012 and the first few figures of 2013. Plus 2012 customers will already own the first few figs so a lot more will be known vs. last year when the club was put together and promoted very last minute. I am so looking forward to 20913 and finally knowing what I'll be getting in the 2012 and 2013 subs! Hoo-Boy!

I'm actually not going to complain about answers this week. But the questions? Seriously, the recycling symbol on the packaging? That's the best we could come up with?

Actually, that "recycling symbol" question is kind of important for some of us.
Depending on your state's recycling laws, (such as those in NY) if the symbol isn't on the packaging, it can't go in the recycling bin. If you try to recycle it anyway, they can refuse your garbage pickup, or simply take the item and then fine you for it.
Also, the number inside the recycle symbol is important as well. Certain states will only take items with specific numbers inside the arrows (that number determines the types of materials in the plastic and dictates the methods used to recycle said item, remember, not all plastic is the same).
You might not be concerned about it, but some of us are. It really is beyond time that some of the larger corporations (consumer and otherwise) start taking a more pro-active approach to "reduce, re-use, recycle" and I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting more of them to be made aware of what practices aren't up to par.

When you submit a question THEN you complain about the questions of others. Someone wanted that asked, so we asked it for them.

I know it's probably not politically correct, but I really could care less about whether action figure packaging is recyclable or not. Now if I got to pay less for trash service if I have less trash overall, then maybe. But if you're going to charge me the same rate wheither I recycle or not, I'm not gonna recycle. That's just the way it is.

My original statement still stands. Not trying to be rude Julius, but I thought that was a lousy question. Although Joel seemed to hit it pretty head on with his reply to me. On top of that, don't make the assumption that I don't submit questions. This isn't the only forum I post on, and I'm not about to run from forum to forum asking questions. I think that's a bit childish.

Anyways, didn't mean to derail the thread. I'm actually a bit more pumped about the sub for next year, and the comment that 2012 line is complete, don't have to worry about flashpoint plastic man or something

What's the thinking behind using a fictional character ("Matty") to communicate issues like delays and acknowledgements of QC issues? Doesn't anyone at Mattel actually want to put their name to these announcements?
Ha! Nice one, AF Blues. Who are you?! Why do you hide behind a mask?!
Also, doesn't "Mattyjusticeleague" defeat this purpose?

Asking about the recycling symbol, less packaging, or even the use of the paper twist ties that Hasbro employs have all been fantastic questions in past Q&As. There are dozens of questions getting asked every two weeks, surely we can spare a few to environmental concerns.
