Was surprised to find the Freaky Fusion Hybrids at TRU today along with the Zombie Shake 2-packs, really expected both assortments to be "fall" items.
I saw comments about the Freaky Fusion dolls being found last week, so we went to TRU Friday night. They were one short of having two full sets left, but they had another case on that day's truck and said it would be available in the morning. Had to get up a little earlier than I would like on a Saturday, but Jennifer and I were both able to add Avea, Bonita, and Sirena to our collections. I like Avea every bit as much as I thought I would, and the other two far exceeded my expectations.

Her shelves look terrific with the printed backgrounds like that. I like that Dustin has a little bed, too.

Like CC said, the collection looks great, the backgrounds really help make the figures *POP!*

Yeah, the fusions are great! I still haven't picked up Bonita but I was really surprised how much more I like her in person than I did from the photos. I can't wait to get to see the budget dolls from this line, really looking forward to the Frankie and Scarah but Ghoulia and Operetta look very interesting, too.

When I saw this in the pics from Toy Fair I couldn't believe that they would actually get this thing to market. Then I saw it again in the photos from the SDCC booth and then I bought one on Wednesday...

After all the fuss over Al Snow and Head a few years back I'm still floored that a severed head in a jar is being marketed in the girls' aisle at Target.

The thing seems a bit small and over-priced ($25) but the box weighs a ton. I think the base of the jar is weighted and the whole pack is just surprisingly heavy. If it looks like the left eye is peeling off it is... The eyes and eye makeup are clings (like Colorforms) There are a few sheets of eyes and other makeup items included and a few add-ons like wolf ears and horns and earrings. It's a cool looking piece as it is and whenever I get around to displaying my dolls this will be prominently displayed with them.

Some of the tumbler users I check have been reposting about all sorts of new stuff showing up at Target and TRU and some of the online doll sellers. The two Haunted assortments are out, Geek Shriek (a budget line), Monster Exchange (I think that's next year's basics), Gloom and Bloom, Freaky Field Trip (another budget line) as well as Mirror Beach, Spring Un-Sprung and Through the Woods for Ever After High.

BTW, has anyone seen the second assortment of Ghouls Alive anywhere?... I saw Toralei and Duece in February or March at Walmart and haven't seen either (or the late addition Robecca) again.

I've seen Ghouls Alive at a closeout store near work, as well as Scaris: City of Frights. There is an Ever After set, as well.
