Has anyone gotten the skirt off Gypsy?

Well, they seem to be doing a slightly better job of pre-planning with the MOTUC line - introducing characters with certain new parts that will later see reuse - but that hardly changes things for JLU...

Black Canary was the third female figure released by Mattel and the first one produced by them. So technically speaking, she was "preplanned" with no boot cuffs so that they could reuse her legs on the female figures that followed (i.e. Katma, Vixen & Dr. Light).

There are only 4 female torsos in JLU (i.e. Standard, Polly Pocket, Wonder Woman & Hawkgirl.) Hers looks to be the standard version, so her legs should have the usual "v-cut".

There are actually 5 female torsos...

- Wonder Woman version 1 (the one without waist cut articulation)
- Wonder Woman version 2 (the one with waist cut articulation)
- Hawkgirl
- standard female (Black Canary, Zatanna, Vixen and so on)
- 'Polly Pocket' girl (Supergirl and Stargirl)

WW versions 1 and 2 are a bit taller than the standard female body, so they are useful to make characters that are a bit taller than the rest.

Don't forget Waller as a unique female torso, she may have been just a one time deal but is still another female character in the line.
