See what makes me mad is the DC Sub should have killer articulation like the MOTUC one. I mean for the love of God please bring back the rocker ankles at very least

Someone pointed out that last year they had to offer people the chance to cancel their DCIE sub because the thermometer didn't hit 100%, and the terms and conditions state the sub won't go through if that doesn't happen. So the speculation is they just artificially pushed it over 100% and made it "look good" by doing 4 or 5 incremental updates throughout Monday so they wouldn't have to offer refunds. Of course that means it never really NEEDED to hit that mark and the thermometer was just a marketing tool. Or, if you want to give the benefit of the doubt, ToyGuru found some miraculous cost-saving measures in the past 3 weeks so the same minimum quantity wasn't necessary.

I'm just glad that it's going through and I hope that they found some way to do Huntress and Mera in the 2013 lineup so we don't need to worry about them anymore.

No company wants to have to offer or give refunds, but as a subscriber to the Ecto-1 sub last year, I know Mattel will do it, if they deem it necessary. In that instance, it wasn't an offer, since the sub was canceled, but they did offer refunds for the SDCC Stay Puft.

I don't know what I think of whether this was all a marketing tool, whether the numbers increased from last year, or if they were inflated at the end. All I know is the sub is going through. And I hope the selection is better, from my perspective, than what has been shown so far. I think it has to be better if there is any chance for a 2013 subscription that we already know will contain minimally tooled figures.

A good chunk of Barda could go towards a Mera, if I recall correctly.

Huntress will probably show in one of the Batman lines.

Honestly? I bet the first female they show this year will be Phantom Lady.

And since Scott said there would be "several" for 2013, I'd give the other two slots to Mera and Vixen. Huntress will end up at retail. There are likely no females that are in higher demand at this point than Huntress, Mera, and Vixen, and out of those three, the only one with retail potential is Huntress, since she's Batman's daughter.

I hope you're right Mo. That would be one helluva 2013, if we got Phantom Lady, Mera, and Vixen in the sub, and Huntress at retail.

Well if anyone deserves a variant, it's Huntress so I hope she goes to retail now.

I see what you're saying, but I bet variants are done. I could see them doing the current Huntress at retail and the classic Huntress in the sub eventually, but I have a feeling they're steering clear of retail variants.

Regardless, mark my words. Phantom Lady in 2013.

Yup, Uncle Sam sets the precedent for her.
