Saving $10 is serious business.

I love how people think Mattel wouldn't have realized the mistake themselves until the sale. I know people have a low opinion of the company but do you really think they are THAT dumb?

Hey come on now, Mattel would have adjusted the price no matter what. From either seeing it here or on their own message forums, they would have changed the price. Let's not point fingers and end up causing others to get mad and then have this thread turn into something we all don't want or need... a very heated... Flame... WAR!!! Seriously though, they are just collectibles everyone... just collectibles, D.

Seriously though, they are just collectibles everyone... just collectibles, D. I meant Mattel is idiots, not anyone here! They didn't change that batmobile price until later that day. So they would have sold some of theses 3 packs for $20 probably. Also, I didn't mean anyone on this forum. I was talking about that guy that " tattled " on the Matty forum. Flame war or not, that guy should have kept quiet! Sure they are just collectibles...... But they are $30 collectibles that are way overpriced! The only thing that at least makes me feel better about purchasing this pack is, I will be getting 3 new figures. $10 a figure is really still too much for these figures. Don't get me wrong, I'm buying them. At least Unlike the Mongul pack that I was just paying for him. I noticed some people trying to sugarcoat it saying at least they got a new version of Batman. I don't feel that way. No I don't want another Batman, I don't care if they made the figure out of solid gold. I don't need another damn Batman or Wonder Woman. Give me something I want for $30 like Mongul, Translucent Volcana & STAS Aquaman. Oh right, NO CHANGES TO THE PACKS. I was looking at my bent up Mongul pack that I paid $40 & getting more annoyed by all this. So I watched " For the man who has everything " again & it made me feel a bit better. The cartoon will always have a fond place in my heart. The hell I went through with these toys finding them, the prices that kept going up, digital river, & Mattel in general...... I am really just relieved that 2013 will start a new year without the hassle JLU toys. I am so glad this is the " Final JLU figures "

I am so glad this is the " Final JLU figures " I see what you are saying, I also knew you weren't calling anyone here idiots. Only the "If people wouldn't have opened their big mouths" comment was the thing I was commenting about. Anyways even though these collectibles are way overpriced, one must realize that complaining about it is kind of "eh" because you really don't have to buy them. (I know they are awesome and what not) but again we are the ones choosing to pay for the over priced collectibles. So complaining about having to pay the expensive ridiculous price for something you want comes across a little "meh." I mean no offense to anyone, but really if the price is so ridiculously stupid or bothering you so much... just skip them, it's what i have done on several JLU/YJ figures and I feel perfectly fine with not having an absolute complete collection... just my 2 cents. D.

Dusty, you're not going to last very long on the Internet if you keep posting reasonable, balanced opinions like that. Just sayin'.

Bryan Long wrote: Dusty, you're not going to last very long on the Internet if you keep posting reasonable, balanced opinions like that. Just sayin'. Well I have been active in many Forums and websites for about 11 years now. Most of that was me being very unreasonable and actually very annoying too. I like to think that my newer more reasonable attitude is better... but I have been wrong many, many, many times before so... D.
