They're also advertising a more generalized "DC Unlimited" line with New 52 Superman, New 52 Flash and New 52 Hawkman. http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... _NQ7Zg_mDRI'm also certain that the "7-inches" line is just a typo, since all of these figures were already announced for the "All-Star" lineup.

OK, so ... wasn't New 52 Superman and New 52 Batman supposed to be included in the "last" DCUC wave that is hitting in, supposedly, August? You know, the wave that includes Anti-Monitor armor Superboy Prime and Red Robin? The line that is the re-assembly of the mis-fired DC All Stars line? so... how will this work? They'll put out the figures in August, hope they sell through before the end of the year, and then LAUNCH A NEW LINE with the exact same figures? Yep, truly Mattel HAS learned from all their past mistakes or are we just not going to get that odd case of Supes, Bats, Robin, and Prime as a place holder to this new 2013 retail line?

I was wondering the same thing. What I HOPE happens is that they replace Superman and Batman from that last wave of the Classics line, and replace them with Larfleeze and maybe the reissue of Steel that was talked about before.

Or the New 52 Superman is the jeans-and-t-shirt version. Or the Earth-2 one.
I'm not sure what the "new deco" on the New 52 Batman could be in Batman Unlimited. Maybe a lighter gray?

Mattel announced those four for the first All-Stars wave but after that got scuttled I don't think they ever confirmed which four figures would be making up DCUC 21.

Can't wait to see the "official" announcements at SDCC that, I am sure, will be full of only half the information if any at all. We are most likely going to get clarification of one point and then just more confusion and implications to be mis-interpreted on everything else.
(man I'm feeling cynical today)

Ben I think what your suffering is not cynicism but a condition known as Mattel-itis, it is something logical people suffer after prolonged exposure to a badly run corporation!!
