Anybody into these figures? They look like pretty cool toys. I've been looking for a Flash (naturally), but haven't had any luck so far.

Yeah,
I've got all of them except for the impossibly HTF Atrocitus and the yet to be found Aquaman.
There is another thread on the board about the line a couple of pages long but it might be buried at this point.
Flash seems to be exclusive to Kmart at this point. In case you haven't checked that route out yet.

You're right, there is another thread down there. Sorry about that.
Didn't know about Flash being only at Kmart so far. Thanks for the head's-up. I like that they used JLU Flash art on the packaging for that figure.

They're not Kmart exclusives. I picked up Hawkman and Flash from TARGET about 3 weeks ago. They had another FLASH still there. If you want him LMK and I'll pick him up for you at cost, you'll just need to pay shipping. *BTW - I returned the Atrocitus I bought months ago. Regret that now. Regards, geoff

Wow. Target huh. That's good to know.
All my local Targets got rid of the old style figures when the Voice Comm figures launched. I still see the odd Arctic Batman with a clearance tag on it, but that is it.
I keep hoping that Atrocitus will pop back up on eBay but he hasn't even been seen there in a few months.

I'll check the stores around me before I have you pick Flash up for me. Appreciate the offer.

I'm just the opposite: the only figure I bought from this line is the hard-to-find Atrocitus, and just because right now it is the only rendition of this character in 4.75 in and I wanted one in my collection.
I had to pay around $19 plus shipping on eBay, though...
It is a bit toy-ish, but it is indeed cool, and it looks ok putting it together with JLU and Superpoers figures...

I bought Kilowog, Atrocitus and Cyborg for the same reason, mentalpower. Atrocitus and Kilowog do work fine with JLU. Cyborg is a bit iffy, but he's still a cool figure.

Quote: Last auction I saw ended around 50 bucks.. Wow. I have to believe that Atrocitus (and Dex-Starr) will eventually see wide release. I can't believe they'd tool these figures and then not use them. Particularly since Atrocitus was on the animated GL show.

Thanks for the Kmart tip, everyone. I went on my lunch break today and picked up The Flash. They still had one Flash left, plus a Hawkman, and two each of Batman and Mr. Freeze.
I'll keep an eye out for Atrocitus, but I'm not holding my breath.

Quote: Was Kilowog ever released carded, or just with a vehicle? Sorry, Lou, haven't checked this thread in a few days. As far as I know, Kilowog only came with a vehicle. I think he looks MUCH better with JLU that the dreadful JLU figure we got.

I thought they already had their wide release. I remember finding Kilowog and Atrocitus on the shelves of Toys R Us a long time ago. and that's the Manahttan Toys R Us that usually NEVER gets the hard to find figures.

They've been out for a while. Kilowog is still on shelves at TRU, but he's only available with a vehicle. The cost is about $14 or so around here. Atrocitus was *briefly* released and apparently made it to a few retail outlets. He was also available online at TRU.com. That's where I got mine. However, the figure was REALLY scarce and disappeared fast. I've never seen an explanation as to why. Most people presumed he'd get re-released, but it's been a while and nothing.
