My Toys R Us in Fullerton, CA had 3 of the Batman/Robin 2 packs. All 3 Robins had grey legs ... I was surprised actually how dark they were! It made me not pick one up. They also had 2 of the bat mobiles ... NICE.

Sigh. I really didn't want to get into this line, but it's like a drug. First a Batmobile... then the 2-pack... then I just went ahead and bought all four villains from Amazon, although two are pre-ordered.

I hope 7-year-old me is happy in the past now that he'll eventually end up with the toys he wanted in 1982...

I just found the single carded figures at Walmart, $15.97@.
The batman and riddler appear to have more airbrush work than the ones I found at TRU.

Does the single carded Batman have the wire in the cape. Is it the same sculpt as the 2 pack?

It's the same sculpt, but the single carded figure does NOT have the wires in the cape.

My Riddler and Penguin are still stuck at "Shipping" at Amazon.com

So far I have Batman, Robin and the Batmobile and I love this line. There are a lot of people complaining (on another site) about this line and especially the Batmobile but I personally love it. I could care less about opening doors, I really can't believe that opening and closing doors is a deal breaker for some. Yes it is a 30-40 dollar item but I am happy with it and would of paid more than the 50 for it. It is big and sharp. I will admit though the Robin's I have all have weird collars that are off to the side and not centered correctly. All we need is a Batgirl/her cycle

They good also do a cheap Batboat and Helicopter. As long as they keep cost down they can surely sell them.

What line is that Batcycle from?

Also, are the Joker and Surf Batman not part of the first case assortment shipping now, or am I just missing them? Both TRUs here in town got these within the last day or two and there's a plentiful amount of Batman, Riddler, and Penguin on the pegs, but no Joker or Surf Batman. With the amount of figures on the peg, it seemed like a freshly opened case that nobody had touched before me, and yet I couldn't find any Jokers. I can understand Joker being nabbed fast by collectors or scalpers (especially if he's shortpacked), but no Surf Batman on the pegs either?! I guess I can hope for them to ship in the later case assortment Catwoman is coming in. :(

As for the single-packed Batman, upon close inspection of him side by side with the Batman/Robin 2-pack on the shelf, he appeared identical to the 2-pack version. For those who have opened both, can you confirm that's the case? I left him on the peg and just bought Riddler and Penguin since I already have the Batman/Robin 2-pack, but if there's some slight variance I'm unaware of, I'll go back and get him.

After seeing those pics I am certainly getting a batcycle. As for Penguin and Riddler I don't know what is taking Amazon so long to ship these. They are listed as "In Stock" and I made my purchase days ago. Never have I ever had to wait this long for them to ship off my figures. I am going stir crazy.
