Growing up in the 70's I of course loved this show and its probably what turned me into the "DC fanboy" that I am today (that and my mego collection). When I first heard of these coming out I was excited and thought about collecting them, but ultimately decided not to (I have way too many toys already). I was in a Toys R Us the other day and saw the Batman and Robin wall climbing two pack and a Riddler figure and have to say I was very underwhelmed with these figures. There's a big part of me that feels like I'll kick myself later for not collecting them, but seeing them on the shelf kind of makes me glad I didn't. I definitely see the appeal to them and I'm sure there are lots out there that truly love these, but I can't help but think they could've looked better than they do.

I would love to see that Batmobile though... I bet its awesome!! :D

Rick

you know Rick, I can't help but agree they could have looked better. Joker and Penguin look awesome though and so does the Batmobile but it's a bit over priced I feel for 60 bucks at retail and being all plastic.

So far I've gotten the Batman & Robin pack along with Riddler, Penguin, and Joker. I'm still on the fence with the Batmobile. It looks great in all the pics I've seen, but I just can't convince myself to pull the trigger on it. I guess I'm lucky I haven't really had any time to check my local TRU because I'd probably be weaker if I saw in person. :D

Yup, some of you fence-sitters are underestimating the demand of these figures. They are NOT pegwarming. If you're waiting for clearances or just procrastinating on buying them, then you may end up regretting it in a couple of months when they are much harder to acquire.

I've only seen the Riddler and Penguin at TRU once, overpriced, and nothing else. I'm certainly not a fence-sitter, they just don't have them anywhere for me to buy. I will probably pick them up off of Amazon soon.

I see these figures regularly at local walmarts, and about $5 cheaper as well.

All I need is another Joker and I am done with this first set and just waiting for Catwoman. I wonder if Matty has plans for those other DC shows, they would sell too, especially a Reeves Superman.

Yvonne Craig announced on her website that she has granted her likeness rights to Warner Brothers for Batgirl toys in the future.
