Thanks for the tip! D@mn shame... I just bought a loose one of these a week ago for $30!!! Oh well! I did just pick up 2 from this seller just to have extras!! BTW... I've bought from that seller before and the items I received were fine.

I have bought from this seller as well. I personally think he is a bootlegger. If only he would come out with Volcana and YJ Captain Marvel.

These are factory guys in China who sell items that mostly dont pass quality control and instead of pitching them they put em on ebay. I've been buying from him and others for years now and sometimes the flaws are more obvious than other like one legs significantly shorter or bad paint apps but for the most part the figures are in good order and are legit figures not bootlegs.

I have bought for him before and he does not sell bootlegs. The figures are real. I just bought more Aquaman from him to customize and I always check his auctions for a great deal.

I found several on the pegs the day they were released. I bought them and used them for customs before I knew how rare they actually were.

Yes... I went through my auctions and see that I've bought from him at least 6 times, all successful auctions. I check his auctions from time to time just to see what goodies he has.

I picked up 2 just because they are so cheap. I was lucky to get myself Aquaman when he came out, though Target would not get the case for me but sent my college aged girlfriend to ask the electronics guy and he brought her out both cases. Was the only time I saw him in retail but I only bought 2 more to trade cause I passed a a few of the Matty.com 3 packs. I may end up buying Blue Beetle off this guy, but I tried getting BB from a backdoor guy before and they were horrible !

The problem with Aquaman was threefold. His wave shipped late, there were no refresher cases and his assortment was split in two flavors.

Flavor A consisted of Aquaman, Barda, GA and some Batmen; while flavor B gave you Firestorm, Deadshot and more Batmen. So as usual, it was luck of the draw. Some people got Aquaman, some didn't. Either way, it wasn't long before everyone was knee deep in Disco Brainiacs.

I never found Aquaman at retail. That said, I found a ton of Volcanas when she first came out but never bothered to stock up on her since I thought she would be common.

Yes, I got very lucky. I'd bought the "lost" Barda wave online and didn't need a Barda, and my area got the Aquaman wave. Even so, there weren't very many cases that made it out. I bought one for me and sent one to another collector, I think. One of many appalling distribution failures on the JLU line.

Anyway, I went ahead and picked up another. That's a good price and I'm glad to see these getting out.
