If anyone interested website pop critica has pics of the final three super powers myz riddler and gold superman

They turned out really nicely. Too bad dcuc didn't use these super powers cards for the entire line. I think they are the best designed card art packaging of any toy line ever. I love the bright colors and the fact the super powers card art had a cartoon comic book rendition of the character

Here is link. http://popcritica.com/first-look-mattel ... -acertijo/

Beautiful. Can't wait to get them all. I love the cardback with all the Super Powers themed DCUC figures. And the Riddler card is a Super Amigos card! Brilliant! :)

The love for Super Powers is apparent by the effort put into this packaging. I'd totally buy all the SP-themed DCUC figures on Super Powers cards if Mattel was willing to re-release them.

And 40 bucks a pop is a totally fair price for 5 straight repaints (6 if you count Kalibak) and one cancelled free pack-in figure.

Action figures in the six inch size cost at least twenty after tax anymore. And since they are part of early access where I'll be picking up not only multiples of each super power character but also other stuff like the batman beyond or dcuc Conner Kent the shipping will be a lot better

Besides this is the end of the line and the quantities are more limited than even the four quarterly figures so I don't think it is that bad. After all to me these super power decoes of the trinity are the iconic definitive versions and I've waited six years for them

I will probably pass on all three of these. I will get the Batman (X3), Superman and Wonder Woman though.

While I appreciate mattel not feeling it was in 'good taste' to put a peg hole in Myx's butt for a flight stand, they could have made a platform which was molded for the figure to sit on. It screams of laziness and indifference that they sculpt a figure in a sitting/ hovering pose but make no attempt to provide a flight stand.

I'll pick up these, but will sell on the riddler and gold superman, or use them for customs should no one else want them either.

I think that my biggest problem with Mxy is that he looks to be considerably bigger than Bat-Mite. Fifth Dimension, I know, they can be any size they please but as it stands those two characters barely look as if they're from the same line even without the size difference.

And I agree that something should have been done to allow for Mxy to float (same goes for Bat-Mite), it's not like he wasn't seen sitting on a little cloud most of the time. (anybody know of a toy cloud about that size?...)

Maybe make a cloud out of one of the flight bases and some Fiberfill? I think that was the name of the cotton like product my wife used as filler when she was crafting.

yeah, fiberfill or polyfill is the stuff but I'm trying to think of something plastic, like a Happy Meal toy.

I like the design on the repro cards. I wasn't planning on getting any of these but I may be getting Batman.

After seeing the colour of the Superman, I wish it was a brighter, lighter blue like on the card art or the Batman figure.

Also I don't see why they used a new tampo for the S emblem. The one they used before on the previous Supermen looks bigger and better in my opinion. ( but others might like it, each to their own )

A very cool idea from Mattel. And a win/win in terms of production cost vs profitability/returns. Super Powers fans will love 'em. If I didn't sell of my entire Super Powers collection a few years ago, I'd buy all of these.
