What's your elusive Young Justice White Whale???

Image

Most of us who collect YJ have completed our collections, but if you are still out there looking
for those last few hard to get YJ, what would you consider is your last few white whales of the
toy line??? Image

EXAMPLES:
Green Lantern
Artemis
Hall of Justice
Amazo
etc........

Or are you done collecting altogether and have just given up?

Had every figure, in both scales, including exclusives and unreleased figures. Once the show got canceled, I sold everything off for pennies on the dollar. I honestly don't miss it. I essentially did the same thing with JLU. Lots of you here benefitted greatly from my purge(s). :D

Never got the last 2 stealth figures to complete the Hall of Justice. never had any interest in the figures because the scale is off, but I would like a complete Hall.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up buying them on line.
I didn't want the YJ figure at first, but now I'm customizing all
the ones they never made for myself. Black Manta is next.

There was talk about Netflix picking up a third season of Young Justice the show, but
I don't know if they ever went threw with it.

I absolutely hated the "upturned fist" pose of most of the figures. I ended up with most of the smaller scale because I wanted the figures that fit in with JLU (Miss Martian, Artemis, Amazo) and the Hall of Justice. I picked up some of the larger scale on clearance for accessories and the display stands. But there's not anything out there that I want that I didn't get. I would have loved the Lagoon Boy Build-a-Figure.

I managed to get all of the 4 1/2" and 6" stuff that was released. I'm not going to really search for anything but if I run across production samples of any of the unreleased stuff and I have the money at that moment I won't hesitate to grab it.

BatStew makes and sells a YJ Shazam cast kit, copied from the unreleased 4.5" scale.
I grabbed one myself.

I could use more 4.5" Batmen, Flashes, GLs, and Martians to make my customs, but other than
that I got them all. 8)

I have written at length (in several blogs here at AFi) that the 4 inch line was a disaster from the beginning. Terrible sculpting, over priced, bad character selection. Watching videos of the designers defend how well they came out was agonizing. The Hall of J pieces were cool, but not enough to justofy the price Mattel was charging. No compelling reason to go out and buy it.

That said, I did grab 4 of the 6 inch pieces when the Mattel store had a sale. They were the first 4. Aqualad, Artemis, maybe Red Arrow, Robin, unsure now. That line too suffered from over pricing, largely because of the oversized bases included. I never bought any others, but I think I would pick up the matching Kid Flash if I found him for a reasonable price. Every one I ever saw was 30$, too much for me.

From the way Mattel keeps acting, you would think they had the Star Wars license.

That's a good looking WW figure.

I'd like to say they were planning on releasing a Black Manta figure. I could be wrong.

Thanks.
I'm working on a Black Manta as we speak.
All you have to do is splice the McD toy Manta with a YJ Aquaman and sand the toes into a boot shape.
No real skill needed.
