Coming for this new Bruce Timm animated alternate universe animated feature. I suspect it was done by DC Collectibles since all of the other pack ins have been

I wonder if it will have shoulder or neck articulation? Many of the DC Animated pack-in figures did, but the more recent ones are just statues. I'm also intrigued by the scale and armor. Unfortunately, unless they become widely available on eBay, I won't be paying for extras for customizing.

Pretty as this is, I suspect it will be in the same scale as all the other pack-in figures, which is smaller than the Mattel line. I would love to hear otherwise, though.

I'm not sure, Cas. The most recent pack-in, from Batman vs. Robin, is bigger. About 5 inches. It also wasn't a Best Buy exclusive.

I'd still rather them in 4 inch scale to go with my JLU collection. Alas.

While I'm hoping it's a typo, the press release says that those figures are going to be 7".

I actually though it just looked like a repaint of a crappy recent batman movie figure.

Are you saying it was a different scale and sculpt

Yes, the included figure in the Batman V Robin release is a new, unarticulated figure attached to a base. Very similar to the past released figures, except in a new larger scale.

Yes, it is. I can try to take a picture tonight. I have all the Best Buy movie promotional figures to date, and it's bigger and has a different sculpt. It's actually probably more like 4 inches. Zero articulation. Some of the older figures used to have arms and heads that moved, but they seem to have stopped doing that.

Honestly, they're not something I'd buy in and of themselves, but as long as they're coming with the Blu-Ray + DVD combo set, I'll buy them over the basic set.

Ive seen it at several stores (and with a sculpted base)_- I just originally thought it was a movie figure repainted, but if DCC is doing them and not Mattel-- guess that's not possible.

I have several of the others- this one was just a pass for me since the figure didn't look animated at all..

The figure in the Batman v Robin set is made by Schleich. Says so on the bottom of the box. So it's a departure from prior sets where the figures were made in China in the consistent scale with shoulder and neck articulation.

"Goes on sale today." (Don't know why but I can't get the quote button to work when I'm at work.)

Anyway, I bought the set this morning on my way to work. Wonder Woman looks to be in-scale with the JLU figures, but I don't have any to compare it to at the moment. There is no articulation, and she's mounted on a base. I'm a little irked -- usually Target discounts these on the day of release, but this rang up at full price, $24.99. I'm not sure they won't discount it -- I got a lady stocking the shelves to bring one from the back. I wonder if I'd waited until they were properly stocked if it might have gotten updated in the system or something. But I've got a busy day and didn't want to miss it if I couldn't get out at lunch. If I see it discounted I'm going to go back and get a price adjustment.
