We're just a week away from SDCC, so let's hear what you are expecting/hoping/demanding to see at the show from Mattel and DCUC, MOTUC, etc!

Are you excited? Jaded? Given up all hope completely?

A 2nd wave of the 1960s Batman line with plastic caped Batman and Robin, Batgirl, and plainclothes Bruce and Dick. I have a bad feeling we're only going to get a single wave of this cool line, which means it will never be complete without Batgirl. :(

DCUC returns to retail with the Wave One CnC the Doomsday we've asked for for years.
DCUC Sub: Mera, Vixen, and some more villains
MOTUC Sub: At least one Snake-man revealed with Modulok being the Sub Exclusive figure. 'Cause that's probably the only way they will get me to re-up next year.

well, I was hoping to see merchandise for Teen Titans Go, but for a 2nd time, Mattel has passed on Teen Titans as a license. Maybe it has something to do with Young Justice not performing well for them. Maybe not. I think adding Beast Boy to the Fisher Price lines would make a lot of sense.

Hoping for a 3 3/4 inch DC line like MU but not counting on it.

My bet is that Modulok is the "holiday" figure that Scott teased for next year since it would be a "vintage" figure *and* one that a lot of noise has been made over *and* has been included with the sub for next year *and* has a $35 price point which makes sense after a $30 Ram Man. And I'll bet that we see Squeeeeeze in a couple of weeks (isn't he the last Snake Man left at this point?).

What I want to see:

A quarterly wave structure of 5-7 figures for DC 6 inch, alternating between Nu52 for a wave then more recognisable figures for the next, either with a CnC (figure or something like the Batsignal) or 2-3 decent accessories per figure.

A monthly wave structure of 4-6 figures and a vehicle set for DC 3 3/4 inch, preferably with a theme - wave 1 Batman, wave 2 Superman, wave 3 Justice League for example. These should be similar to Marvel Universe in that they are designed both to be sturdy enough for kids and have enough articulation and detail for collectors.

A closer working relationship. I don't expect a new major character to appear in the comics and to be able to order the figure the following day, but I would expect to be able to when the trade comes out.

A solid subscription for 2014 - I know they can't announce all the figures, but the first 5-6 and a theme for the year.

Jo

A second retail wave of Batman '66 figures, including Batgirl, Alfred, Alfred-as-Batman, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Surfs Up Joker

A sub of less retail-friendly Batman '66 characters, including Egghead, King Tut, The Bookworm, Louie the Lilac, and others (with sub-exclusive Aunt Harriet)

One or two more Flash rogues in the DCUC sub

I don't care what it is, what line it is for, new, extending, returning ... whatever so long as ...

It EXCITES and SURPRISES me!

Really. I am long overdue for some exciting surprises in my DC toy world.

Please and Thank You.

I guess I'm looking forward to what they decide to do with Beware the Batman. Would like to see the same type of figures style-wise they had with the Power Attack line.

Other than that, I think there will be a lot of surprises across the board & I'll just wait & see.
