Same could be said for many lines, including Star Wars Vintage Collection. Poor distribution doesn't indicate lack of consumer interest.

Thanks for the pictures, dah! I'd love to see more if you get the chance!

I didn't say people lacked interest in the line.

I still say Guy Gardner and Black Hand single handedly killed that line..

Although the "variant" three packs might have pushed it over the edge..

How do two people "single-handedly" kill anything? ;-)

Bad and repetitive distribution combined with a total lack of headliners in the first couple of waves killed that line. 4", no matter what a collector wants to believe, is more kid-friendly and -oriented at retail. When was the last time you saw a Star Wars wave without at least one or two main characters in it?

When your first wave does not include Batman or Superman, you're asking for trouble. Doubling (or tripling) up C-listers like Guy or Hand is just moronic, especially in a non-sculpted line like that one (where parts were reused very, very frequently). If you want additional GLs, they're available. The number of Superman/Batman variants possible even in a comic-themed line is staggering. There was no excuse to have so many non-mass-audience characters in that line so early.

Is there anything non movie/video game related coming out for the line? I haven't been paying attention so I don't know if they have announced anything beyond that.

She said an announcement will come at ToyFair in NY about the 3rd wave.

Thanks. I feel like the next announcement will make or real this new line.
