What's up with Zod's rifle? Why is it bent apart? Didn't the early convention pics of him show him with a regular rifle, as he used in the TV cut/Donner cut of Superman 2? I guess I'll have to find a similar GI Joe rifle to give him. :(

So they're basically making IH figures again...a line that failed for a reason.

See now I like that his rifle is all bent up. It'll make for a nice "show of strength" display on the shelf.

Never should have stopped, unlike JLU where they couldn't have stopped soon enough. Now at least they have the sculpting up to par to compete with Hasbro.

Didn't he bend a rifle in the movie? or melt one with heat vision?

He also shot a bunch of secret service agents with one in the White House in the extended TV version and Donner cut.

That head sculpt looks too soft to be on par with the Kenner of 20 years ago, let alone the Hasbro of today.
Hopefully, the bodies will be better.

Kenner wasn't in the right scale either, but I wasn't talking about Keaton. I have enough bats in my belfry as it is.

Well if you think that IH failed, then so did JLU. :P
I believe that IH and JLU were both SUCCESSFUL in giving us loads of figures.

Retailer GREED with Price Mark-ups killed the lines.

With all the advancements in technology, real scan & all that.
It's kind of sad that the Kenner toy from 20 years ago looks
more like Michael Keaton than the toy made by mattel today
does. Just another mattel toy line with half @$$ed attempts
at making the figure correct.
