Because they clearly listen when we tell them what we want...

If the line ever releases "classic, comic styled" figures, I'll be in for sure. As it currently stands with Movie and Video Game announcements, I'll keep sitting on the sidelines....

You think they'll ever get there after releasing 18 peg warmers from video games and movies?

I don't know that these are going to warm the pegs. These aren't awful designs, they're from a AAA game with tons of publicity, and the sculpts look good (whether one likes the style or not is a different question). I'm hopeful that we'll get an Arkham Penguin, which would be the first 4" Penguin in forty years.

I'd rather have "classic" looks as well, but Arkham VG designs are at least recognizable, as opposed to Injustice designs, which I can't stand.

The batman and superman movies were pretty recognizable too and no one bought those

You mean the Happy Meal toys that Mattel produced for those lines? No wonder they didn't sell.

I'm not saying these will fly off the shelves. I am saying that this is something very different from what Mattel tried five years ago, and it will be interesting to see if it pays off. Some of these figures look like something I'll buy, but I'm certainly not all in on the line. Still, these sculpts and POAs look better than any of Mattel's 3.75/4 offerings from the last two or three years.

And these figures will be what? Probably 12.99?

ACtually Id say they look less detailed than the last few figures from the IH line-- which of course got cancelled just when they found their groove..

So it's 2 versions of Keaton Bats, Reeve Superman, Terence Stamp Zod, Pfeiffer Catwoman and Devito Penguin.

I would be over the moon happy if these were in normal Movie Masters scale. I will still probably buy them anyways but I'm not thrilled with them. The quality isn't terrible for the reduced scale I guess.

Mattel please, please, please make a sub or something on Mattycollector.com offering these same figures in regular MM scale!

Okay I know I mock Mattel for their lack of detail and craptacular 3-3/4" efforts-- but that Movie Penuin and Catwoman-- look amazing (especially if they keep that level of sculpt quality in the mass produced figures)

However, the Revees and Keaton not so much (and the VG figures)_-- not so much- and lackluster at best....

Totally agree. Please Mattel! I beg you! Release these figures in the Movie Masters 6 inch scale!

If these figures were in the 6 inch scale, that would be my favorite toy line ever! Please, release them in the 6 inch scale!

If they're only released in the 4 inch scale, I'll be moving to the Star Wars 6 inch collection. Zero interest in it.

http://WWW.toynewsi.com had a voting about the collectors favorite scale, and the 6 inch had almost the double of the 4 inch scale collectors. Not to mention that almost all of the movie figures are released in the 6 to 7 inch scale. I have hundreds of movie figures from dozens of movie to prove that.

Well, I bet that's enough to prove that...
