I am planning to buy two only to be able to display Kaldur (YJ Aqualad) next to Black Manta.
DC Total Heroes has that animated style to it where I could see Mattel making a YJ styled Nightwing, but they probably won't cross the themes.

I'm still trying to figure out why Black Manta was given the deluxe treatment. With the GL Corps and Firestorm the multiple heads make sense, Batman Beyond sorta makes sense but does Black Manta really need to be seen without the helmet or have an alternate head? I bought three of the GLC and I'll buy three of Firestorm so that I can display all of the heads because they are different characters. Batman Beyond I'm still deciding upon because, again, different characters but I don't see a need for more than one of Manta because all three looks are still the same guy.

Guess they need to justify the price-- otherwise us collectors will complain why he is the same cost as the others with nothing extra.

I do not know, but I am hoping that it will be some time in June or JULY when Bizarro and Mr. Freeze are released.

I'm more excited about the blue and grey Batman over Bizaro and Mr Freeze.

I, personally, will always take a new character, even a "z"-list character, over a costume change any day.

But, that being said, I will be buying the Blue/Grey Batman as well.

I really hope that we do see more figures announced. The majority of the current figures that were revealed should be available in July. I hope that Mattel releases another wave of figures before the year ends, followed by another wave in January of 2015.

Looking at the basic male buck Green Arrow, Captain Marvel and Hawkman would require very little tooling Black Adam too. With a little bit more work we could Martian Manhunter, Death-Stroke and Captain Cold aswell. Add another 2 Batman variants there go 2 more waves. :D

Some more TOTAL HEROES suggestions.

Reverse Flash - repaint Flash and add a new HEAD.

Ocean Master (New 52) - repaint Aquaman and add a new HEAD.

Deathstroke (New 52) - repaint using Batman arms, legs and lower torso, Aquaman's chest, add a new HEAD, and BELT and SHOULDER HARNESS similar to Batman Power Attack: Total Armor Batman.

Booster Gold - repaint Flash and add a new HEAD.

Rocket Red Brigade - repaint Flash, and add a new HEAD and FOREARMS with built in blasters. Include a numbered sticker sheet.

Captain Atom - repaint Flash, and add a new HEAD.

Major Force - repaint Flash and add a new HEAD.

Blue Beetle (Jaime) - as shown on ballot. Basic body with attachable Scarab and Wings.

Nightwing - repaint basic body and add an new HEAD.

Earth-2 Batman 1 (New 52)(Bruce) - repaint of Batman figure.
Earth-2 Batman 2 (New 52)(Thomas) - repaint of Batman figure.

So I just picked up my first Total Heroes this weekend and I have to say that they are better than expected. I had originally passed on the line after being a near DCUC and JLU completest. I really didn't want to start a whole new line. So I passed on wave one and finally picked up a Superman and Sinestro this weekend with a TRU coupon I had. Now I have the bug and need the rest ;).

The stores around here are completely cleaned out of these. No one has any wave one and everyone else only has Superman and Sinestro. They seem to be selling very well. Luckily I was able to track down Bats, Aquaman, GL, and the GL Matty set online. All I need now is the Flash.

All in all I'm really excited about these. They have a definite animated feel (which I like) and are easier for my 3 year old son and I to play with. As long as they keep the price at $10 I'm in. Now that the Batman Beyond universe is in the comics heavily I hope we can get more future JLU characters to join the upcoming Batman Beyond.

If I ever see them at an actual store, I'll pick this line up.

Try Toys R Us. They're practically exclusive there for most of the country.
