Other than a new vest for He Man? Seriously though...I guess DCC has been picking up the slack but something celebrating the anniversary from Mattel would have been nice.

I know about the Keaton Multiverse Batman stuff, and the kids lines. Anything else collector-worthy that I missed?

Doubtful. It seems like Mattel treats their DC license like an inconvenient burden these days. I'm sure any new Batman toys that just happen to come out around the 75th anniversary will be a happy coincidence and not intentionally released to honor such a significant date.

It's a shame but you are right. Since there are no live action movies this year and Beware the Batman was cancelled Batman is currently in Mattel hibernation. Even Kenner released a 100th edition Batman figure. But whatevs...All hail DCC!

If there's going to be anything I would almost expect it to be an SDCC item and not something for mass retail.

Yea, Batman does terrible at retail. Mattel needs to play it smart.

The reason I don't believe that there will be anything special at retail is that there isn't really a "collector" line at retail anymore and the big boxes tend to shy away from stand-alone product. Multiverse might get something but I really think that SDCC or Matty is going to be the place for an anniversary piece if there's going to be one.

Let's start the SDCC exclusive speculation wish-list:

75th Anniversary DC Multiverse First Appearance Batman

They already made one of those though.

There's was 6" in the Batman Legacy line, no 4" (yet)

A Multiverse scale 1989 Batman Batmobile to go with all the 1989 Batman figures?

Yeah, I'm probably setting my hopes and expectations way too high on that one. :(

I am just going to display the Keaton Batman figures with that Hot Wheels Keaton Batmobile from a few years back. I think it is pretty close to the Multiverse scale.
