I haven't seen a batmobile either. It's the one thing I really wanted from all this and I can't even see one in person.

Akron area, but I've gone as far south as Louisville, and north as Mentor on the Lake, and found them.

BBTS have the Catwoman figure in stock right now:

Not to mention that Target get the Batmobile again:

Of course they're hard to find. It's Mattel distribution, horrible as always it is.

Really? Huh.

Yeah, I've gone into several surrounding area Walmarts, and found them at each one.

Regardless, if Matty's happy with the sales, common sense would dictate that they're out SOMEWHERE. Maybe OH is the majority of the sales, then? ;)

That could be the case. I mean around here stores couldn't keep Thundercats merch in stock, and yet we all know how that turned out.

These have restocked at local Super Walmarts only at least 3 times.

TRU has also had these as well as the Batman/Robin 2pk. The Batmobile has restocked at TRU twice.

I have never seen any 66 product at Target.

If Affleck uses Bale's suit then all Mattel needs is new head and they can put out Superman/Batman Movie Masters figures using the current Superman figure.

The real question for Movie Masters is would they do Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney and Reeves in their respective costumes. Id like to see that happen and I bet it would sell as well if not better than most Movie Master figures do.

Ironic that I love 3 3/4 figures, but only the originals from the 80's. It was a burn to me when they started making 6 inch figures but I eventually got into them, not I hate all modern 3 3/4 - 4 inch figures. For some reason (TO ME, my opinion) they just aren't good, the MU and Joes of today are terribly designed, they feel cheap. I would rather have a collection of Secret Wars than MU and RAH than the modern Joes. I recently picked up the new Cobra Commander and the design is just pathetic, removable helmet is stupid, design cuts in stupid places...ugh

I still want these in 6 inch, does anyone know if Mattel has released an official statement about why these went to a smaller scale. I heard a bunch of people thinking it is due to retailers wanting smaller figures, etc.....but those are just people's belief's I want to hear it from the donkey's mouth.

Just once, I would love for someone to be frank with Mattel.

"Look..why would you do this?"

I, unlike a lot, do not blame Scott/ToyGuru. I do not believe for one second that he's this evil mad scientist, who is only out to crush dreams. Hell, he's only the marketing guy. However, Danielle/Fangirl 2.0.....is another matter. And I somehow feel like she might be partially responsible for this....

Misogynistic, I'm sure, but I swear...it's only based on track record.

I can confirm the figures are appearing in Ohio Walmarts, I went to one (of 2 in my city) today and found a bunch of Riddlers, 2 Penguins and a Batman. I'm in Springfield, OH which is about 30 min. from Dayton and about an hour from Columbus. I didn't see the Batmobile though.

That's good since he has nothing to do with this. Pretty sure Scott isn't over any retail lines now.

It's definitely a regional thing then, because no Target or Walmart store in the Oklahoma/NW Arkansas/North Texas area carries the 1966 Batman line. There's not even any pegs on their plan-o-grams devoted to this line. TRU is the only chain that carries it in this part of the country, and it looks like once they sold through their initial shipments they didn't bother restocking more. Every single figure, 2-pack, and Batmobile disappeared from TRU shelves in a matter of 3-4 weeks.

I think Green Lantern was his last retail line.

Shabbyblue, I've seen the 66 Batman line on the pegs at the Belle Isle Walmart in OKC and at the Norman I-35 Walmart.

It seems to be up to store management as to whether or not they are going to carry the '66 stuff. The other Walmart in town (the one I work at) doesn't have a spot for them and it hasn't been on the plan-o-grams. It's understandable, 6" stuff doesn't sell very well at my store, not enough collectors go there. Batman '66 would be a risk and would mostly peg warm until it gets clearanced.
