Since the different Hot Wheels threads seem to come and go pretty quickly maybe having just one generic one like Imaginext will keep the thread on the front page a bit longer... Anyway,...

Found a new-to-me Batman 3-pack at Big Lots a couple weeks back for $3...

...and a Bat Pod that's part of a somewhat-new motorcycle assortment ($2.17 at Walmart)...

($%#@$@ Photobucket at it again...)

There's a Herbie The Love Bug Hot Wheels out there, but I haven't found it yet.

Cool! Is that in the basic $1 line or is that in the entertainment line?

The Love Bug is in the regular line, thank goodness.

I found one today in a Black Friday display box at a Meijer store. I was hoping to find a Herbie too, but no such luck. I'd say that 75% of the massive display box was empty due to the cars being just 60¢ today. I did notice Mattel has a Maxx Steel basic vehicle out now too.

Found a new basic The Batman Batmobile. Black with blue rims and a blue stripe on the top of each side from trunk to headlights.

There's also a blue comic book based Batmobile (HW City 62/250) and a smaller Bat-Pod (HW City 64/250) out now.

Sorry for the crappy images.

The Flintstones Mobile is also still shipping along with those Batmobiles and Batpods I think.

I found a Mars rover, The Batman Batmobile, Herbie, and another Mystery Machine at the 99 cent stores just before the holidays.

I'll confirm the Flintstones car, but it's a different color than the 2013 version. Where the 2013 model is sort of a "brick" brown with gold wheels, the new version is a darker brown with gray wheels. I'll try to take some pictures this weekend.

I'm not big into HW, but apparently there is a Star Trek Enterprise or two floating around out there. Have I missed them, or are they on their way?

The Enterprise came out a few months ago. I believe it was 1 per case or something ridiculous like that. I don't know if they are still shipping though.

There are two versions. A normal Enterprise, and a battle damaged Enterprise. I only ever found the damaged one, once.

Didn't know about the Batpod. That's cool.

I may be the only one who likes or cares about these, but they recently expanded the Muppet Hot Wheels lineup. Their first time around, it was just regular Hot Wheels with Muppets printed on them; the last two series have been...well, like Kermit the Frog transformed into a Kermit-shaped green sports car, Gonzo as a drag racer, and Animal as a Monster Truck.

The most recent series came out last month, and includes Miss Piggy as a luxury car, Fozzie as a sort of old Studebaker-shaped thing, and Beaker as an experimental rocket car (which is easily the most phallic-shaped vehicle Hot Wheels or any toy company has ever made, I'm wagering). Anyway. They're out there, they're fun, and they're pretty damn weird.

...and of course me being me, I want them to make a Rowlf and a Scooter and a Swedish Chef and Sam Eagle and Dr Teeth and...well, everyone. Because I need more medication.
