I found this one the other day and was pretty excited. Sadly the 'pegs' (for lack of a better word) don't hold the minifigure in at all (they don't 'lock' like a regular LEGO). And the position of the 'steering wheel' doesn't really work for them to sit in and hold on to at the same time. The minifigures do sit in the car just fine, they just don't really lock in, which is kind of disappointing.

Still a cute effect, and I suppose it's a great effort considering LEGO and Mattel are entirely differnet toy companies, but they could have done a better job assuring the minifigures fit tightly.

Not having any to test with it, I have to wonder if maybe the car works better with a Mega Blocks figure. I find it odd that they even named the thing "Let's Go" when Mattel has had a deal with Mega Brands for a while (and now they even own them) for Hot Wheels and Barbie themed block sets.

Found this year's version of last year's Lego compatible car today. Looks great as it's been done up with a blue Hot Wheels racecar design.

I tried a Mega Bloks figure and encountered the same issue - the problem is that the 'pegs' that act as the seat are just too small and don't grip the figures. The pegs on the top of the motor work just fine.

Oh well.

Found all of those today except for the '66 and the Bat. Going to try to dig out the last set tonight and see if there are any differences in the cars or if it's just the card art.

Whoa... thought I'd come back to this... Anyway, the 8 75th Batman vehicles are all different to the last batch of 8 that they did. Some are pretty subtle differences and I still haven't seen a '66 Batmobile so that one could be identical (but probably not). Six of the vehicles overlap, the Affinity Batmobile (the design Mattel used for the original 6" line) and the one with the really long spoiler (don't remember the name at the moment) aren't in this batch, those are replaced by the Bat and the Batman Live Batmobile.

Also found two the the Star Wars cars yesterday at Walmart ($3.47, I think). Found Vader and Luke. Vader must be very heavily packed as there was one Luke and about six Vaders left on the pegs with no sign of any others. The back of the cards show Chewie, R2 and Yoda. Anybody know if the two packs all going to just be repacks of the singles or are there going to be cars specific to those sets?

Found a mainline Hot Wheels Aston Martin w/James Bond Goldfinger logo on it. There's apparently a Lotus Esprit from The Spy That Loved Me as well. Haven't seen it yet.

Have yet to spot The Homer or the regular Starship Enterprise.

Seen the Star Wars Cars At Target and Meijer..

And there is that track set at TRU with the X-Wing Car-- hope they repackage that- don't want to drop the 15.00 on that one.

Teaches me to be impatient..

Target has a 5 pack of the star Wars cars (R2,Yoda,Luke, Vader (not the Chewie) and an exclusive Battle Damaged Stormtrooper Car)-- 18.00 -- so not really a discount-- at least-- and the Stormie car looks like someone just smudged black paint in one big swipe)-- deco looks absolutely terrible.

Found the Classic '66 version (04 of 08) of the 75th Anniversary set at Walmart. Now I only lack The Bat.

Also found an Aquaman in the "Character Cars" series. I hadn't seen one until now.

The ones with the character image printed on the side or the ones that are designed to "look" like the character?
