I also apologize if this has been asked before, I thought of doing a forum search but whenever I do that it doesn't work so well...

*ahem, sorry...
my question is: Are Mattel's 6" Movie Masters and all other 6 inch lines (except JLA) cancelled? Will we not be getting Movie Masters for MOS 2 and on?

Sorry again if this was asked and answered before.
Thanks for any help! :)

I don't know about MOS2 I don't think anybody does, but all other 6 inch lines are done for now.

I think they said all MM will now be part of the 4" DC Multiverse

I like the look of the 4" Keaton and Reeves figures that was shown. I think that Keaton Batman will display nice with the Hot Wheels Batmobile from a few years back.

Really?!? Bleghh, that 4 inch line looks terrible IMO. Well I guess I really am finished collecting Mattel. *le sigh, 11 years of pretty much collecting only Mattel... now what do I do? :/
Thanks for the replies though everyone. :)

With the exception of MOTUC (and even that seems to be on life support), I believe Mattel will abandon the 6 inch scale completely for action figures, including Movie Masters.

Which is funny to me (not really  )-- since Hasbro is almost doing the exact opposite.

I thought I remember a Q and A where Mattel said that they didn't rule out making 6 inch Movie Masters in the future. When Man of Steel 2 comes out in 2016, I bet that we will see something like we did for Dark Knight -- both 4 inch and 6 inch lines will be available.

One thing is for sure, Mattel doesn't have any qualms about switching scale for no reason at all. But it's going to take a merchandising juggernaut like MOS 2 in order for Mattel to spend the $$ to make figures in 6 inch scale again.

It's never been said that 6inch MM were retired. We won't know until 2016. Unless somebody asks Mattel.
