Hello everyone.

I have been more of a shadow here on AFI for a while and it is with a heavy heart that i write of the very sunden and shocking passin of my closest friend....

Bill Kirsch aka Shellhead

He passed on mon evening and the cause is as yet a mystery. I know he has talk/ posted/traded and i'm sure been a pain in some of your @$$es like he often was for me. ;) I am unaware if ha had anything pending with anyone. I have been ask to go through his collection in the near future. As you know he was an avid comic, SW, DC, Marvel, Lego, MOTU,........ok so just about everything....lol.
When i know more i will let you all know, both as to the cause of his sudden passing and possible purchases from his collection. I know he'd rather have his fellow and even better friends...give a good home to that stuff he so loved and amassed in his lifetime of childhood. ;)

thk u all

Wait, What?!?!

Oh my God...

I am so sorry to hear about this. Bill and I had started getting together when he would come back to New York to visit family and we had some great conversations. I will truly miss him.

....

Wow. Bill was always helpful, and had a passion for this hobby. He'll be missed and I'm sorry to hear this. Please pass along my condolences.

This is terrible news. Thank you for taking the time to let us know, Kent. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends grieving for this loss.

Bill was a respected friend to the AFi community. If there's anything we can do, let us know.

This sucks. We didn't always get along but we got to a place where we could debate respectfully and cordially. I'm just relieved we parted on good terms.

My condolences to his friends and family. He will be missed.

Thanks for sharing the link to his Obit.

I'm still having a hard time accepting this.
