Doomsday will be able to be ordered right after Comicon from Mattycollector.

Taken from from the matty forum.....

"I noticed that the Doomsday figure is not on the list of items that is supposed to go on Sale for the SDCC after-party sale. Will Doomsday still be available for sale or not????"

Toyguru :
"We are still working that out. More units were sold at Sdcc then anticipated. He was very popular."

So if he sold above expectations at the con, and genuinely sells out from the site, would that be enough proof of sales that they'd go ahead with the unleashed version?

Logic rarely factors into Mattel's decision making. Nor the desire and willingness to make money.

So yeah... that Unleashed Doomsday sculpt will probably just stay tucked away in some Mattel vault collecting dust, never to be tooled and released to all of us who want him. :(

How big is that Batmobile they sold? Is it truly worth the $85 they are asking? Oh, and are we talking about regular Doomsday or the containment suit Doomsday not being available? Because I was pretty sure that I saw the latter on the after SDCC sale.

We're talking about the Unleashed regular Doomsday. The containment suit one WAS sold at SDCC and is up on Matty's site for the sale this week. Hope it doesn't sell out before I get one.

I hear you. I just updated my credit card information and hope I can pick one up too.

I wanted him but since they say he sold so well at SDCC & they have such a limited number to sell on the site, I'll probably miss out. I don't have the time to sit & wait around on the matty site for the window of opportunity to open to buy something.

That's why I placed my first order just for those and went back for everything else. The only reason the MH doll lasted longer last year was overload on the site... Took me 45 minutes to get the doll orders through but still managed to get the dolls.
