I was just at a TRU yesterday but didn't see this set. Might pick it up for the bald GL and Flash. I've got the others so I'll wait.

Yeah, I've been wanting a bald 5POA John, but damned if I buy this whole back just for that!

How is that rediculous? A 3 pack cost $10 and a single pack costs $5, this is 7 figures for $25 in a display box. I really can't see anything out of line about that price for a store exclusive.

are you kidding me stcardinal? 25 bucks for seven figures? anyway when i saw this thread i went to TRU and got this, no bald GL (good cause i hate him bald) but it is a very cool pack, (bad paint jobs on almost all i saw, but this one was the best) all are the original 5 POA, cept WW,

Again, what a shame Wonder Woman wasn't the original sculpt, still, I'll probably get this set.

Well, that was said for the people that wanted the bald 5 POA GL. Why pay $25 for him? But from the recent pics, it appears to be the original GL.

It seems like the guy who posted that ebay auction had swaped a few figures.

Based on Dusty's pics, it appears that some of these figures differ from the original versions. I can't be certain of any of these until I can compare the figures with the originals in person.

- GL appears to have a silver circle on his uniform, instead of white. The original only ever had white
- Superman's suit appears to be a light shade of blue
- The yellow on Flash's costume appears darker than the original's
- Batman seems to be molded in the current colors used for him (light blue and bacl), whereas the original was actually grey and black. The bat-logo is different than the original's, too.
- Martian Manhunter seems to use the current versions light color pallette, instead of the really dark first release
- Hawkgirl's costume seems brighter

Again, I can't be certain until my TRU actually gets this in and I can buy it.

Dusty, can you post the 12-digit UPC number from the box?

Regardless of Wonder Woman, this can only help the line. Think of all the kids who will be thrilled to get this, as well as the moms who will be thrilled to buy it. This is the kind of thing that will propel JLU into 2009 and beyond.

Peace,

Chip

Still, from a collector point of view, it's a shame they didn't use the original wonder Woman sculpt. It is far superior to the one with the waist joint.
