Bumping this...

But also, I could see a Johnny Thunder and Thunderbolt...that figure separately might not sell, but using it as a C&C might be really cool.

Yesterday the Mattel panel (or someone at the booth) said that the MattyCollector 2-packs were going to go more obscure (Ultraman/Alex Luthor) and I think Johnny (or Jakeem) Thunder and Thunderbolt would be a good fit there.

Okay, so now we have (or are soon getting)...

Metamorpho
Grodd
Lobo (technically)
Grundy
Despero
Metallo
Kalibak
Atom Smasher
Giganta
Chemo

I think they'll want to get some re-use out of parts. Ultra-Humanite would be easy with Grodd parts as would Mallah and Congorilla (I really wouldn't expect them to create new gorilla parts even if Mallah and Congorilla are smaller -- hmm, Congorilla/Congo Bill Matty pack?...).

I'm sure that Giganta has parts that will be re-used in Elasti-Girl and the modern Giganta at some point (would't expect more than one female C&C per year).

What about Charaxes or Hellgramite? Charaxes has been close before but got cut due to tooling costs and got replaced with Killer Moth.

Now that we've seen the JLU Apache Chief I wonder if he's been considered for a DCUC C&C?... Maybe a Super Friends wave?... Most of them wouldn't require much in the way of new tooling...

Um, in other thoughts, what about Black Mass?... Brick?... Spot (Stanley's monster)?...

I know that build a vehicles have been shot down by Mattel already, but it's usually been about something larger like the Batmobile or Invisible Jet, but what about a C&C Batcycle? I like JQ3x29yz4a's idea of a C&C horse, but I don't think they'd break it down quite the way he did...

I like the list so far.

And did anyone see the photo of Chemo with a light source behind it? It looks awesome.

Anyway, since Cornboy indicated that they listen, here's my list:

Kilowog
Arkillo
Starro
Doomsday
Validus
STRIPE - In a wave that includes Stargirl
Ultra Humanite
Anti-Monitor

This isn't a wishlist, this is just something to open up possibilities and while away the time (I'm laid up in bed, and I've run out if things to do!)

Let's list down all the massive characters in the DCU!

Seems like they fall under two categories:

Giants (like Chemo, Giganta and Atom Smasher)
and Bulky characters (Like Kalibak, Grundy, Despero and Grodd)

GIANTS
Colossal Boy
Anti-Monitor
Imperiex
Titano
Trigon
Spectre(?)
Starro

BULKY CHARACTERS
Doomsday
Darkseid (the current one is scrawny! He's not GRUNDY size but shouldn't he be about as big as Despero?)
Mongul (also Despero sized!)
Kilowog
Monsiour Mallah
Blok
Broot
Blockbuster
Mammoth
Big Sir
Colonel Computron
Girder
Swamp Thing
STRIPE
The General/Shaggy Man
Arkillo
Mr. Atom (?)

Yep.

Let's hope DC/WB will put him back on the "available list" very soon! One of the Horsemen is a *HUGE* ST fan (according to the other guys) so the sculpt would definitely be in good hands...

Still think we need to add

25% bigger

Mighty Endowed

Figure with Attachments-- Oracle---(her wheel chair could be split up)

[quote="The Superfly"]So I was trying to think of all the possible DC characters that Mattel can make into Collect & Connect figures. Here?s what I got so far:

"25% larger" characters:
Ace (Royal Flush Gang)

Love to see Ace made.

One of my favorites. I have two.
[s]Atom Smasher[/s]

Blockbuster

Would have been great in a Suicide Squad/Legends pack
that builds Brimstone.

Clayface

Matt Hagen version

Damage

That would be cool to see masked Grant.

Doomsday (new)

Definitely overdue

Kilowog

He's coming. Looks cool, too.

Manhunter robot
Would love to see it.

Mordru
Would be cool

Neron
Definitely

Nuklon
Overmaster
Plasmus
All very cool choices

Rocket Red
D'Mitri in Apokolips armor
A Wasted killing in Omac, tho.

Shrapnel
Spectre
S.T.R.I.P.E.
Definitely all 3 of these

Wildebeest
Definitely with baby version in one piece

Normal characters with "attachments" (like Metamorpho):
Argent
Dr. Light
Fire
Ice
Icicle II
Killer Frost
Plastic Man
Poison Ivy
Tempest

Rather just see these get made, period. :)

Oversized 10"-18" characters:
Anti-Monitor
Definitely

Brimstone
He's coming as a BAF, but wish they'd make him even bigger

Colossal Boy
Elasti-Girl
Would be cool

General
Please. Would be awesome.
Still waiting for a JLU figure of him.

Imperiex
He's coming as of SDCC 2009

Onimar Synn
Would be cool

Shaggy Man
Definitely

Spectre
Starro
Titano
Love to see.

Trigon
A MUST

Validus
A great choice

Add Gog from the recent Geoff Johns JSA run to this list. He practically towers over the JSA, so how can he not count?

Although somewhat obscure, I think GL Garth Rathbone would make a really cool C&C.

You're in luck, just buy wave 18 when it comes out.
