Hawkman and Joker 3-packs found at retail ?

Fellow JLU collectors,

I saw this on the Toy News International website. Not sure if could post this here or not but this guy says he found these new 3-packs at retail and he posted pictures too.

To be honest with you, if it were the Fire and Ice pack, I'd probably do it. It's much easier than driving around Pittsburgh, trying to find something new like I did with Stargirl, Parasite, Nemesis, Lightray, Volcana, Huntress, and Shade.

But I can't justify $50 for one figure. Can't do it.

I'd be happy finding one new item as well. A friend of mine actually travelled to Kentucky and found me the new John Stewart with the big hand and the Superman with the bent girder plus an extra Orion which I didn't need but figured would be good for trade bait. Other than these new figures, the newest thing that I have seen is Stargirl way back when.

I'd love to find something new.

Ya know, what with gas prices back up to $3/gallon ebay is beginning to be a more viable alternative - and maybe more "green" alternative to driving all over hells-half-acre (as my granny used to say) looking for the elusive action figure. . .

Of course, that eliminates the thrill of the hunt and that spark of europhia that you feel when you find that figure or 3pack you've been searching for.

That Hawkman from ebay will go as high as $200 by end time... Too much for one new figure... I'd rather gamble my luck when it's readily available here... :wink:

I got the Joker-Canary pack a month or so ago in a trade from a friend w/connections. It is cool!!! The sculpt on Mista J's face is unreal!

GAH- gotta go hunting again....I must have Canary! (one of my favorite characters) and Hawkman (and hopefully Fire and Ice.)

I like the original Canary better myself, but the Joker makes that pack a must have.

No rush though, not for a packs with only one figure I need.

Oh I adore the original Canary figure(I bought quite a few- because as I said, she's my favorite.)- this one seems to have a prettier head though.

I was just looking at that Joker auction and although it's still purple the card art has changed.
