With the recent recall notice that includes The Batman action figure line. I've been wondering if the JLU and the DCSH lines have been impacted.

Are these made at a different factory in China from the Batman line?

I recently stopped putting my action figures in my mouth, but I do buy them for my grandkids and - well - I don't want them becoming little metal men due to their increased lead levels or have my sons and daughters-in-law giving me a ration of s&%t for being an insensitive lout by mailing the kids "bad" toys.

Well I can't think of any JLU figs that have magnets in them. So it appears that JLU/DCSH is safe for now.

The Batman figures were added to the magnetic toy recall, not the lead paint one. Even The Batman figures should be safe enough if the kids are older because that recall is based on the idea that the kids may swallow multiple magnets which would attact to each other inside of the stomache possibly forming a large enough mass to block the intestines.

So far, the only "Mattel" toy that's been a part of the lead paint recall has been "Sarge" from Cars and that's only those made in China during a few months this year. Everything else that's been recalled because of the paint has been "Fisher-Price" branded.
