I'm game for those. So much for my Hal and Arisia customs though. Oh well I'd rather have Mattel releases of them anyway.

That's a pretty good pic of Arisia, who was a blink-and-you'll-miss-her GL. I also would LOVE a Salaak figure (great pic of him too), but I know that, realistically, a 4-armed 3rd-string Lantern isn't likely to be made anytime soon.

I made Hal and Arisia customs as well but would love to get them from Mattel.

I was thinking of making a Arisia custom but couldn't think of a good skirt for her then I noticed Barada is wearing a skirt I can modify and put on a supergirl.

From Mattel at SDCC "With the whole DC universe available, anything is possible." Never say never, Chip old boy!

Could it be they dont want the price of the earlier figure to drop down in value? I have a feeling that Mattel enjoys making limited figures to cater to collectors who wants to see the price of their goods sky-rocket!!

Actually, I think the correct quote about Hal was they would consider it based upon demand for the character.

God get off the Hal Jordan crap already. Seriously guys. Fight for something else.
As for making anymore Lanterns, as much as I'd love them, everywhere I go it's ALWAYS the Lantern packs clogging up shelf space. Those things never sell. A repack of Batman, Superman and ANOTHER Batman would sell better.
Hal Jordan seems like such a dead horse to beat on. If they ever do make him, that should be his accessory.

Mattel, and to an extent DC, aren't really trying to "keep Hal Jordan from us". The reason why is apparently a touchy subject but in no way sinister. Some characters just have additional complications. There seems to be more of a possibility of getting him back on the drawing board now however. I wouldn't expect him -- but I wouldn't be surprised if he did make an appearance someday.

Well I think to ensure the safety and security of the JLU line for the next year or so to come, Mattel SHOULD make a Hal figure. But he'll be packaged in the first ever JLU 50 pack. With 49 Supermans and one Hal, for the cool, low price of $200. Then all the Hal fans can buy one, die happy and Mattel can snoog in the benefit and perhaps stop shoving Supes into 3 packs and offer the rest of us cool figures we'd like in the line before generic Green Lantern #300. And given all the hoopla that there was over Hal and how much the figures went for on Ebay, Mattel could probably get the money from all these Hal or Bust guys.

I thought they said "No plans for Hal at this time" which means they still might put him out at some point.
